Although this position is remote, the employee MUST live within the Washington Metro Area (WMA) for potential local travel. MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT As a Contract Billing & Invoice Program Analyst Principal, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the customer's mission. You will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless financial management and compliance for cloud programs, aligned to the customer's objectives. - Lead the financial reconciliation process: Oversee the end-to-end reconciliation of complex cloud invoices, ensuring alignment with internal usage, program budgets, and contract terms. - Serve as a PMO liaison and reporting expert: Deliver clear, program-specific financial reports to PMO leadership, acting as a subject matter expert in cloud billing for cross-functional teams. - Drive compliance in contract funding and invoicing operations: Monitor contract funding, expenditure thresholds, and facilitate compliant invoicing per FAR regulations. - Utilize advanced data analysis tools and methodologies for insight: Leverage spreadsheets, dashboard visualizations, and other tools to streamline analytics and reporting processes. The Contract Billing & Invoice Program Analyst Principal must have: - Security Clearance Level: Active Top Secret clearance w/SCI eligibility - Education: Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree. - Experience: - 8+ years of overall related experience - Minimum of 6 years of experience in billing, invoicing or financial analysis in support of US government - Technical Skills: - Expertise in Google Sheets or Excel utilizing pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas. - Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional program teams and functional teams to drive billing compliance and cost allocation efficiency. - Strong organizational and analytical skills, with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools. - Strong process improvement skills and experience in developing and implementing effective internal business processes. - Understanding of government billing cycles, invoicing procedures, and reconciliation against contract terms - Knowledge of and experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) - Knowledge of and experience with various government funding documents (e.g., TOs, CLINs, SLINs, ACRNs, MIPRs) - Location: Candidate MUST be located in the Washington Metro Area (WMA) with the ability to travel 10-20% within the WMA. The likely salary range for this position is $102,000 - $138,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
