Summary The Incentive Design Specialist is a key subject matter expert and project manager for Marathon Health's Wellness Incentive Platform, ensuring clients receive optimal value from our services. Acting as the primary liaison, the Specialist collaborates with internal Client Advocates to design and develop incentive programs tailored to client's specific wellness goals. This role requires maintaining high visibility and communication with clients, vendors, and brokers to create and uphold impactful programming that engages employees, improves health, promotes available benefits and resources, and drives health center utilization. Responsibilities include partnering with clients to assess their health and wellness needs, providing expert advice on best practices, and creating strategic implementation plans. Additionally, the Specialist evaluates the effectiveness of existing programs, models potential impacts of alternative approaches, and enhances client engagement with our platform and online wellness challenges. Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Program development: Design, implement, and maintain incentive programs tailored for a variety of clients. - Problem-Solving: Address and resolve challenges with innovative and effective solutions for key stakeholders. - Project Management: Provides operational leadership and project management support for new and existing wellness programming from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with goals and delivered on schedule. - Stakeholder Engagement: Establish collaborative partnerships with internal teams across the company including, but not limited to, Operations, Clinical, IT, and Sales, to ensure the ongoing delivery of needs are fulfilled in partnership with these functional areas. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in health education, health promotion, exercise science, nutrition, psychology, public health, or other health-related subject and at least 4 years of experience in developing, monitoring, measuring, communicating, and reporting on health- related topics and incentive design programs or equivalent combination of education and experience. - 4 years of experience in the healthcare or worksite wellness industry, preferably with online wellness platforms, including familiarity with patient portals, EMR systems, and visit coding for point automation if applicable. - Strong understanding of wellness programs, chronic conditions, and behavior change theories. - Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to multi-task, prioritize work, and meet deadlines while effectively managing competing priorities and coordinating multiple client programs. - Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, combined with creative and effective problem-solving abilities. - Flexibility to operate effectively in a constantly evolving and fast-paced environment. - A proven record of successfully working with key stakeholders, clients, and vendors. Desired Attributes - Experience: Proven expertise in designing and implementing evidence-based wellness incentive programs and applying behavior change theories. - Healthcare Knowledge: Experience working within clinical or healthcare systems, with the ability to apply insights into clinical operations to design and execute new projects effectively. - Project Management: Demonstrated success in managing projects from inception to completion, with a track record of uniting diverse stakeholder groups to achieve shared goals. - Regulatory Knowledge: Competency in applying HIPAA and other relevant healthcare regulations. - Platform Expertise: Advanced experience with online wellness platforms. - Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. - Work Style: Self-motivated with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team. Travel up to 10% requiring a driver’s license and safe driving record. Pay Range: $60,000 - $80,000/yr.
