Role Description This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and scale the Accounts Payable function in a dynamic, high-growth environment. The Accounts Payable Manager will own end-to-end AP operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance while building scalable processes that support long-term business growth. - Manage the full lifecycle of accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, payment execution, vendor setup, and exception management. - Ensure AP activities are accurate, timely, and compliant with accounting policies and internal controls. - Design, document, and continuously improve AP processes, controls, and approval workflows to meet audit standards. - Serve as the internal escalation point for AP-related questions, vendor inquiries, and cross-functional issues. - Collaborate with Procurement and Legal on vendor onboarding, spend governance, and contract alignment. - Support month-end and year-end close activities with the accounting team. - Identify and implement automation or tooling improvements to enhance efficiency and data quality. - Develop KPIs and reporting to monitor AP performance, quality, and timeliness. - Provide documentation and insights for financial audits and compliance reviews. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - 6+ years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable or accounting operations, including direct ownership of AP processes. - Strong knowledge of AP internal controls, approvals, documentation standards, and audit requirements. - Demonstrated ability to bring structure, accountability, and operational rigor to growing organizations. - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Clear, direct communication skills and the ability to partner cross-functionally. - Hands-on experience with NetSuite, Ramp, or similar ERP and spend management tools. - Nice to have: experience in high-growth SaaS/tech companies, multinational operations, SOX compliance, or applying automation/AI to modernize AP workflows. Job Requirements
