The Program Manager is a full-time position with a competitive starting salary ($45,000-$50,000), bonus opportunities, company sponsored 401k matching plan and paid vacation and paid federal holidays. About the Program Manager Position The Program Manager is responsible for the coordination and implementation of activities associated with running our youth sports leagues, clinics and camps in our four territories; Loudoun County, Central/Northern Fairfax County, Arlington/D.C. & Howard/Montgomery County Maryland. The position will mainly operate remotely with some travel throughout our territories to visit venues, market the programs, build relationships and meet with partners. Reports to: Athletic Director Primary Responsibilities: Staff Development and Recruitment: - Cultivation of former staff through strategic engagement and re-hiring of experienced personnel - Promotion and growth pathways: Managing staff advancement from one position to another - Recruiting and hiring new part-time staff across all field positions - Development and implementation of comprehensive training programs for all staff Quality Oversight: - Direct supervision of Senior Site Managers, Site Managers, Sport Coordinators, and Instructors/Officials - Implementation of quality standards through Senior Site Manager assessment programs - Weekend quality control monitoring and support Customer Relations: - Follow-up with parents, volunteer coaches, and participants from programs - NPS (Net Promoter Score) monitoring and improvement initiatives Parent Coach Training & Cultivation: - Implement continuous coach resource training and education. - Host weekly office hours for parent coach support. Additional duties as organization needs require: - PPC phone calls in collaboration with the Admin Assistant - Assist in coach recruitment initiatives by conducting phone calls to Volunteers during the initial process and to all members in the final phase of coach recruitment. Requirements and Qualifications: - Excellent attention to detail, pattern identification and motivated to create processes that optimize and improve the way things are done - Excellent analytical skills - Associates or Bachelors Degree in Sport Management or a related field - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all stakeholders - Self-motivated, works efficiently and meets reasonable deadlines - Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively - Enjoys a challenging, high energy and dynamic environment - Able to make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment and own results - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Capable in both a leadership and team-player role to get the job done - Has experience playing sports and understands its potential to have a positive impact on the community if implemented correctly - Event management experience preferred - Bachelor’s degree - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Gmail, Google Drive, etc Work Week: avg 40 hours General schedule (off season): Monday – Friday; 9am-5pm (subject to flexibility as other opportunities arise) General schedule (in-season): Thursday, Friday, & Monday; 9am-4pm; Saturday/Sunday 8-6pm hours during season (Time Slots are subject to change based on season) Job Type: Full-time Salary: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year Benefits Full-time employees are eligible for the following company benefits: - Opportunity to earn annual bonus contingent on individual and organizational performance and attainment of goals - 401k – i9 Sports will match employee contributions up to 4% of annual salary - 11 days / 88 hours paid vacation per year, which is accrued at the rate of 2.3 hours per pay period. - 10 paid holidays per year - 3 paid sick days per year - Flex time during weekdays if working on weekends during season. - 2 weeks paid paternity/maternity leave Flexible work from home options available.
