Abnormal Security
• Own and continuously improve employee lifecycle processes (onboarding, job changes, and terminations). Balance both transactional execution and process ownership, ensuring workflows are accurate, compliant, scalable, and designed for an exceptional employee and manager experience • Document, implement, and continuously improve processes, procedures, and programs related to the employee lifecycle, conducting regular reviews for optimization and scalability • Participate in cross-functional meetings as an operational subject matter expert, shaping workflows, reporting, and People-related process design • Provide exceptional service to employees, resolving inquiries with accountability and speed • Manage correspondence and unemployment claim workflows, ensuring timely processing, compliance with regulatory requirements, and accurate documentation • Partner with the Immigration team to manage employee mobility requests, including reviewing employment agreements, coordinating relocation support, and ensuring Workday transactions are accurate and timely • Collaborate with Legal, Benefits & Compensation, Payroll, Finance, and IT to support lifecycle processes and assist with global expansion needs and EOR relationships, ensuring accurate handoffs and clear documentation in cross-functional workflows • Own compliance tracking and audits with a focus on data hygiene; reviewing records for accuracy, spotting inconsistencies in processing, and ensuring I-9s and data requirements are completed within SLA. Flag risks or gaps to the team and maintain visibility to leadership • Support compliance reporting requirements (e.g., EEO-1, BLS, Singapore surveys) by preparing accurate data, ensuring timely submission, and maintaining documentation • Support Tier 2 data and reporting needs, including generating reports that require equity or compensation details, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and proper documentation of requests • Manage and provide early intervention for People Ops issues, implementing long-term solutions • Partner cross-functionally to design and test process automation, new workflows, and documentation improvements • Mentor Coordinators and interns, supporting team development and knowledge transfer • Lead non-recurring and ongoing projects assigned by Manager or team
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of People Operations or HR experience, including lifecycle ownership and process improvement
- Strong understanding of the entire employee lifecycle, with ability to design process-oriented solutions that improve scalability and employee experience
- Proven success independently leading onboarding/offboarding in a global, high-growth environment
- Advanced HRIS experience (Workday strongly preferred), with ability to generate reports
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities in dynamic and ambiguous settings
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to influence stakeholders across levels and functions
- High integrity and discretion when handling sensitive or confidential information
- Experience mentoring, coaching, or training team members.

Role: People Operations Coordinator Location: Remote (United States) Duration: 6 Months Contract Pay rate: $20/hr. to $23/hr.
