Solution Consultant, Commercial Pharma
Datavant
• Serve as the strategic, client-facing deal architect for tokenization and linkage solutions • Support sales efforts by leading product demonstrations, client discussions, and technical deep dives to showcase the value of Datavant’s tokenization, connectivity, and ecosystem capabilities • Work closely with sales, product, and customer success teams to ensure solutions are aligned with client needs • Develop educational materials, case studies, and white papers to strengthen Datavant’s market positioning • Act as the primary subject matter expert for linkage workflows, compliance considerations (HIPAA, 21 CFR Part 11, Good Clinical Practice), and interoperability challenges • Gather market insights and translate client feedback into product enhancements and go-to-market strategies • Represent Datavant at industry events
Job Requirements
- 5-8+ years of experience in life sciences, healthcare data, consulting, analytics, or commercial pharma technology, with deep expertise in real-world data and commercial data ecosystems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex real-world data, identity resolution, and data architecture topics into clear, actionable solutions for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working with pharmaceutical commercial, HEOR, market access, analytics, or data strategy teams.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with sales, product, and marketing teams.
- Self-motivated, take initiative, work efficiently and independently, and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to travel up to 20% as needed for client meetings and industry events.

Role Description As a Workday Time Tracking & Absence Consultant in Kainos, you’ll work in a team to implement and configure enterprise-scale Workday solutions for our global customer base, typically leading a project workstream. You will build relationships with our customers, shaping and delivering solutions that are aligned to customer needs, fit for purpose, and commercially viable. You’ll provide excellent guidance to customers, understanding their business and requirements. You’ll support more junior members of the team and share your knowledge with them. Qualifications - At least 2-3 years of Workday Time Tracking and Absence implementation experience. - At least 2 years of Workday Time Tracking and Absence configuration experience in the last 3 years. - Certification in Workday Time Tracking and Absence. - Strong understanding of Workday products either Time Tracking or Absence as well as any other specialist Capability. - Excellent customer focus, able to assess customer needs, build relationships and manage customer expectations. - Strong communicator, able to communicate with customers and colleagues with impact, credibility and empathy. - Strong commercial awareness and full understanding of project and business dynamics. - Broad business and technology understanding and a good awareness of industry trends in either Human Resource management, Financials or Enterprise Resource Planning or Payroll. - Ability to work to tight deadlines and make sensible decisions under pressure. - Ability to widen and maintain a network of external contacts. - Strong consulting skills e.g. presenting, leading workshops, demonstrating and explaining complex functionality or solutions to customers. - Able to lead a functional workstream on a prime implementation throughout the full project lifecycle. - Able to become an acknowledged subject matter expert e.g. Workday Product Lead. - Willing and able to act as a role model within the capability and mentor and/or line manage more junior consultants. - Willing and able to support the sales process including the production of estimates for the delivery of work packages. - Able to implement improvements in tools and/or processes to help the practice. - Commercial understanding of utilization within a services organization and the importance of these targets. - Able to rotate through various Workday delivery services, specifically Consulting and Application Management Services. - For Application Management Services, able to deliver work to meet defined Service Level Agreements. - Able, if required, to travel to customer sites in the same region (minimal out of region travel may also be required).
