Role Description - Serve as the Lead Beaker Analyst, providing day to day guidance to the team from a subject matter expert perspective, rather than HR or performance management. - Possess hands on Epic Beaker build experience, with the ability to step in and support build activities as needed. - Bring previous leadership or team management experience, focused on operational and technical coordination. - Have strong expertise across both Anatomic Pathology (AP) and Clinical Pathology (CP). - Provide deep technical and operational support for Epic Beaker and the laboratory domain. - Hold a robust experience in Laboratory Information Systems (LIS). - Experience working in a reference lab and/or rehabilitation hospital environment is highly preferred. - Deliver high level functional support and act as a primary resource for escalated issues. - Function as the LIS lead, guiding strategy, prioritization, and best practices. - Not responsible for HR tasks such as performance reviews; role focuses exclusively on operational leadership. - Collaborate closely with the VP of Labs and VP of Applications to set priorities, plan resources, and align on strategic initiatives. - Strengthen collaboration across layers of leadership and foster strong partnerships. - Bring prior Epic build and implementation experience, ideally with complex laboratory environments. - Meditech experience is a plus. - Demonstrate excellent communication skills, especially when working across clinical, operational, and technical teams. - Preferably experienced as an LIS Lead or Manager within an Epic Beaker setting with direct hands on build responsibilities.
