Position Summary: As an Aetna Communications Strategy and Operations Senior Manager, you will partner with and report to the Head of Communications, Aetna. This is a highly visible role, working across the Aetna and CVS Communications team and partnering with senior executives and business leaders. The role will span a combination of operational team management, reactive and proactive communications and strategic initiatives. Every day will be different. The successful candidate will be equal parts analytical, creative and action-oriented, bringing a nimble and solutions-oriented mindset to the work. ** Candidate must be based in the Northeast States neighboring CT Hartford ** You will accomplish this by: - Responsible for creation and maintaining of corporate materials, including key messages, fact sheets, executive briefing documents, campaign planning and summary documents. - CVS – Aetna Communications liaison, helping to ensure connectivity and reporting needs are met while also finding creative ways to fully optimize content across the enterprise and business communications platforms. - Provide communications support for special initiatives by drafting strategic presentations, project managing executive appearances and writing social/earned and owned content. - Serving as the Aetna communications operations lead, managing budgets, vendor governance, L&D initiatives, and team reporting. Required Qualifications: - 7 or more years of communications experience - Strong writing, project management and PPT/presentation skills - Executive presence and experience working in a fast-paced environment - Willingness to travel as business requires Preferred Qualifications: - Grace under pressure with an ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously - Events and social media experience - Consulting or Marketing/Communications agency experience is a plus Education: Bachelor’s Degree required; equivalent years of related professional work experience may substitute. Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $82,940.00 - $182,549.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
