Engineering Manager, Adoption and Value Realization
AcuityMD
• Partner with teams throughout the org and directly deliver product experiences that drive measurable increases in engagement and value realization, in close cross-functional partnership • Partner closely with Product to define, instrument, and improve engagement funnels and feedback loops • Build systems that enable intelligent notifications, get high-impact insights to our users, and help managers enable their team on the platform • Lead experimentation and iteration cycles (A/B testing, behavioral insights, activation flows) to continuously improve our user’s AcuityMD engagement and sales outcomes • Be a strong voice for technical excellence, a passionate advocate for thoughtful software design, and a mentor and coach who inspires engineers to grow • Drive initiatives across our engineering team to build and reinforce our culture of expansive ownership, individual autonomy, and constant learning through curiosity • Contribute meaningfully to the growth of each engineer individually and to the team’s overall operating capability • Facilitate collaboration with other teams to deliver the best solution for the customer regardless of internal lines of ownership • Take a leadership role throughout the engineering organization, including in our hiring and onboarding processes
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a professional software engineer
- 3+ years of experience as a deeply-technical engineering manager
- Experience leading complex technical projects
- Proven track record of architecting, building, and delivering software
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills
- Experience working on growth, adoption, activation, or engagement-focused product teams
- Comfort operating in metrics-driven environments with clear ownership over behavioral and usage outcomes
- Strong product instincts and ability to translate ambiguous engagement and value measurement challenges into concrete engineering strategy.

• Responsible for developing preliminary designs and specifications for engineering and materials, while preparing project cost estimates. • Conducting research, feasibility studies, and economic studies to ensure the design is both viable and cost-effective. • Determining design criteria based on required standards and codes, and validating field work, creating as-built drawings to document the final outcome. • Reviewing and checking engineering projects for accuracy and soundness and managing project execution by guiding vendors and contractors. • Coordinating project schedules with plant personnel, vendors, and contractors, ensuring alignment with management and engineering teams to successfully implement plans. • Accountable for coordinating and providing direction to equipment vendors to plan layouts, ensure utility requirements are met, and maintain installation schedules. • Conducting engineering planning, design, and operational reviews during pre-project studies to assess feasibility and ensure alignment with project goals. • Responsible for contract administration, including reviewing bid packages to ensure compliance and completeness.
