The Senior Marketing Manager - Own Brand Lighting leads marketing strategy, planning, and execution for Ferguson’s Own Brand Lighting portfolio, including the Minka, Millennium, and RP Lighting + Fans brands. This role owns campaign direction and execution across digital, social, trade shows and traditional channels, with accountability for performance, optimization, and results. This is a people manager role that partners closely with Creative, Product Development, Sales, and Digital teams to ensure marketing efforts are aligned, market-ready, and driving growth across the Lighting portfolio. This role reports to the Director, Own Brand Marketing Strategy – Residential. Location: This role is open to remote work in the United States for the ideal candidate or Hybrid out of Ferguson's offices in Cincinnati OH (Erlanger KY), Newport News, VA or Corona CA. Responsibilities: - Lead marketing strategy, planning, and execution for the Own Brand Lighting portfolio aligned to business objectives and growth priorities - Set overall campaign direction and own end-to-end execution through internal teams and agency partners across digital, social, and traditional marketing channels - Develop annual and seasonal marketing plans, defining objectives, channel strategies, success metrics, and timelines - Prioritize marketing investments and resources across brands and channels to maximize impact and return on investment. - Own campaign performance measurement, return on investment analysis, and optimization, using data and market insights to refine strategies and improve results. - Ensure marketing readiness and alignment across Creative, Product Development, Product Strategy, Sales, and other cross-functional partners. - Partner with Product Development on product launches and go-to-market execution. - Communicate marketing plans, priorities, performance, and insights to leadership and key partners. - Handle external agencies and vendors supporting campaign execution and performance goals. - Create strong partnerships with the department leads across the portfolio: Product Development, Sales, Project Management and Digital. - Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing marketing team, providing direction, coaching, and performance feedback. - Foster a collaborative, accountable team culture focused on execution excellence and measurable outcomes. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. - Experience in lighting and/or agency experience around home products. - 15+ years of marketing experience with a proven track record of success. - Experience leading people and teams. - Strong experience planning and delivering cross-channel marketing campaigns. - Experience owning campaign performance, return on investment analysis, and optimization - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. - Strong point of view with an understanding of business objectives. - Analytical approach with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action. - Experience leading changes in operational processes and aligning teams to a strategic vision. - Familiarity with marketing technologies and tools. - Previous experience in the lighting category strongly preferred. Role Description The Brand Education and Activation Guide is a brand ambassador, providing best in class service to KEEN partner retailers through staff education, retail merchandising, sales contests, and providing key market feedback to company leaders. This role also requires coordination with the marketing team to roll out activation kits and in-store advertising to accounts. This role develops strong relationships with retail partner staff by consistently delivering excellent service, helping with in store event needs, and conducting quality checks. - Drives sell-through at retail partner locations by educating staff on the brand, KEEN values, product features, technical information, footwear 101, digital training tools, etc. - Distributes and installs seasonal POP activations kits and materials at retail locations, ensuring consistent brand storytelling across the Canadian region. - Coordinates with the marketing team to ensure digital training programs and strategy executed seamlessly. - Supports key partner retailers with in-store selling and promotional activities during sales events, grand openings, and seasonal kick offs. - Provides onsite support for customer-facing experiences across the country, engaging and exciting fans about KEEN values and products. - Provides market feedback including photos, comments from retail staff and fans, and competitor insights using internal feedback software. - Organizes and conducts demo events during seasonal launches, highlighting key product initiatives.
