Senior Engagement Manager – Hyperscaler Energy Solutions
GE Vernova
• Lead business development and client-facing consulting engagements for GE Vernova Consulting Services Power Economics with a focus on hyperscalers, large energy buyers, and data center customers. • Own growth strategy and revenue delivery for Consulting Services Power Economics team engagements with hyperscalers and large commercial & industrial customers, from opportunity identification through deal close and expansion. • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior customer stakeholders, translating power market dynamics, pricing structures, and infrastructure constraints into actionable commercial and investment decisions. • Partner cross-functionally with GE Vernova Consulting Service's other practices to shape offerings aligned to hyperscaler demand for reliability, cost, speed-to-power, and decarbonization. • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Consulting Services Power Economics team professionals, prioritizing client impact, analytical rigor, and commercial mindset. • Oversee delivery of consulting engagements including market assessments, pricing and tariff analysis, infrastructure strategy, and investment evaluation, ensuring high-quality outputs and on-time delivery. • Manage team priorities and resourcing to balance client delivery with business development objectives. • Evaluate impacts of electricity market structure, regulation, and pricing trends on hyperscaler investment and siting decisions. • Guide development and application of power market and economic analyses (with support from technical specialists) to inform customer strategy, infrastructure planning, and GE Vernova growth opportunities. • Identify emerging trends across power markets, data center growth, and energy transition to shape forward-looking consulting offerings. • Represent GE Vernova Consulting Services at industry forums, customer events, and conferences, strengthening market presence and industry relationships. • Contribute to thought leadership that positions GE Vernova as a partner of choice for hyperscalers navigating power, pricing, and decarbonization challenges.
Job Requirements
- Masters Degree in Carbon Management, Engineering or Climate Change from an accredited college or university with major work experience with several years work experience in climate change mitigation sector focused on validation / verification of carbon projects
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% internationally and domestically
- Hands on experience and in-depth knowledge of carbon project life cycle under different carbon mechanisms & standards across relevant geographies
- Experience of projects in different sectoral scopes like renewable energy, energy efficiency projects, fuel switch projects in different manufacturing industries.
- Technical product knowledge of power generation equipment and energy market financial structures
- Demonstrated ability to create new work processes across multiple business/organizational entities
- Demonstrated ability to drive to clear, concise outcomes
- Team Worker with strong interpersonal and leadership skills, positive attitude and target oriented
- Executive oral and written communication and presentation skills
- Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills with proven ability to work through difficult situations
