National Director – Multi-Family Constructability
Taylor Morrison
• Lead detailed constructability reviews for all MF projects • Identify risks early in design and construction documents • Serve as a technical advisor to project teams ensuring designs are feasible • Conduct forensic evaluations of MF construction to identify root causes of failures • Perform on-site inspections to ensure adherence to construction plans • Support divisions with on-site troubleshooting and quality reviews • Mentor and provide technical guidance to internal teams
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Multi-Family Construction design (preferred if in an architectural or engineering capacity)
- Proven expertise in construction defect analysis, risk mitigation, and constructability assessment
- Strong background in field construction, constructability, and execution practices
- Hands-on experience in multi-family project lifecycle, including feasibility, design, engineering, construction, and turnover
- Ability to analyze and solve complex construction and technical problems in both design and field conditions across multiple disciplines and teams
- 10+ years of experience in Multi-Family forensics, including defect investigation, expert reviews, testimony, or third-party inspections
- Registered Architect (RA) or Professional Engineer (PE) or relevant engineering discipline is a plus
