Business Resilience Manager – Crisis Management
CrowdStrike
• Develop, implement, and maintain CrowdStrike's crisis management program, including response plans, procedures, and protocols that align with industry best practices and organizational needs • Design, facilitate, and evaluate crisis management exercises and simulations of increasing complexity to validate plans, build team capabilities, and identify improvement opportunities • Serve as, or provide direct support to, Incident Commander during crisis activations, providing leadership and coordination across response teams • Develop and deliver crisis management training programs for response team members and executives to ensure readiness and build organizational response capabilities • Conduct comprehensive after-action reviews following exercises and real-world incidents, tracking improvement actions through the corrective action program and ensuring lessons learned are incorporated into future planning • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the company to support cross-functional crisis response capabilities and ensure alignment with business objectives • Support broader business continuity initiatives including business impact analysis and threat/hazard assessments to ensure alignment between crisis management and other resilience disciplines • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's overall resilience posture through regular program assessments and implementation of best practices • Partner closely with other teams including Information Security, Global Security, Corporate Communications, and Enterprise Risk Management to ensure coordinated response capabilities • Provide subject matter expertise on crisis management best practices to leadership and stakeholders across the organization.
Job Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in crisis management, emergency management, or incident response, with demonstrated experience as an Incident Commander
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams during high-stress situations, make critical decisions under pressure, and coordinate complex response activities
- Experience designing and facilitating crisis exercises, tabletops, and simulations with demonstrated ability to create realistic scenarios that test organizational capabilities
- Strong understanding of crisis communications principles and stakeholder management with experience developing messaging strategies during incidents
- Experience supporting crisis management in the technology sector, particularly cloud-native environments
- Relevant certification in crisis management, business continuity, or resilience disciplines (e.g., CEM, CBCP, MBCI)
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills with the ability to make decisions under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing situations
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills, including experience developing and delivering briefings to executive leadership during crisis situations
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and project management skills with ability to coordinate multiple workstreams during crisis response
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the organization and build trusted relationships.
