Description About the Role We are looking for a Senior Product Designer who cares deeply about our customers and distilling complex problems into thoughtful, beautiful, holistic software experiences. We're looking for those who naturally do their best work when collaborating with software engineers, product managers, and product marketing teams. Our NinjaOne Product Design squad is a multi-disciplinary team with product designers, product owners, and software engineers. We work cross-functionally with just about every team to deliver a unified customer experience that inspires and brings value to our diverse customer base. Location - We are flexible on remote working from home, if you are located in the USA and reside in one of the following states - CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, *IL, KS, MA, MD, ME, NJ, NC, NY, OR, TN, TX, VA, and WA. We have physical offices in Austin, TX and Tampa, FL, if you prefer a hybrid option. We hire the best software engineers, but experience in our stack can't hurt: NinjaOne is built on Java, React, Kotlin, C++, Golang and Postgres; supporting millions of user endpoints and running as a scalable cloud service in AWS. Knowing large-scale datastore bottlenecks, asynchronous application design and client-server architecture will help you. What You'll be Doing - Create thoughtful end-to-end user experiences that simplify complexity and unify interactions across our platform. - Own the end-to-end user journey and all aspects of design execution-from ideation, to prototyping, user testing, final design, and implementation support. - Partner closely with product management, engineering, and leadership to design and deliver features that align with the business' top priorities. - Conduct research with customers as needed, synthesizing insights and broadcasting findings across the organization. - Advocate for the UX needs of our diverse customer base by leveraging data and in-depth research to champion user-centric decisions. - Build and maintain comprehensive documentation while expanding our growing Design System - Other duties as needed. About You - Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Information Technology, Computer Science or Software Engineering is preferred but not required. - 5+ years of SaaS Software Product Design experience - A strong portfolio of work that shows you were directly responsible for the success of high impact technical projects and initiatives that have benefited software users. - Experience with design tools such as Figma and Sketch etc. - Experience in creating, contributing to, and maintaining a design system. - Experience using principles of visual design and information architecture to create easy to use and intuitive user interfaces. - Experience analyzing and synthesizing data and research into actionable insights that inform strategic decisions and design solutions. - Demonstrated ability to balance user needs, business goals and technical feasibility in system-level decisions. - Track record of designing and shipping enterprise or B2B/SaaS experiences; Ideally in the areas of IT Operations/System administration/Software support. - Humble, collaborative approach to partnering with PMs, engineers, leadership and customers to find the best solution together. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to location, market demands, experience, job-related knowledge, and skills. For roles based in California, Colorado, Maryland, New Jersey, or Washington the base salary hiring range for this position is $110,000 to $150,000 per year. For roles based in New York, the base salary hiring range for this position is $110,000 to $150,000 per year.
