Junior UX Designer

About the role Verndale is seeking a curious, detail oriented, and collaborative Junior UX Designer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone early in their UX career who is eager to learn, contribute meaningfully to digital experiences, and grow within a fast-paced agency environment. As a Junior UX Designer, you will support the strategy, design, and optimization of user-centered digital experiences across web and marketing platforms. You will collaborate closely with Account Leads, Project Managers, UI Designers, Developers, and senior UX team members to translate business goals and user needs into thoughtful, intuitive solutions. If you are passionate about digital marketing, interaction design, and continuous learning, we would love to talk. Responsibilities - Create wireframes, low and mid fidelity prototypes, and user flows under guidance from senior UX team members. - Translate business requirements and user needs into clear interaction patterns. - Collaborate with UI Designers to ensure seamless handoff from wireframes to visual design. - Partner with CMS Producers and Developers to ensure UX intent is maintained through implementation. - Contribute to IA development including sitemap creation and content hierarchy. - Participate in internal brainstorming sessions, design critiques, and project reviews. - Conduct QA reviews to ensure the final product aligns with UX strategy and usability best practices. - Stay informed on emerging UX trends, digital marketing strategies, accessibility standards, and industry best practice.
