Quality Assurance Engineer

• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test strategies and test plans for web and mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms. • Lead quality assurance efforts from requirements analysis through production deployment, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines. • Architect and implement scalable automated testing frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing across web and mobile environments. • Develop and execute test cases for front-end applications (React, TypeScript), mobile applications (iOS and Android), and backend services, ensuring comprehensive coverage. • Perform thorough testing on native iOS and Android applications, including functionality, usability, compatibility, and regression testing. • Collaborate with product managers, developers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and identify potential quality risks. • Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture focused on quality excellence. • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging testing tools and methodologies to continuously improve our quality processes.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer, with a strong focus on both manual and automated testing of full stack applications.
  • Proven experience testing mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms, including hands-on device testing and emulator/simulator usage.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing automated testing frameworks and strategies in a production environment.
  • Strong understanding of testing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Jest, Appium, XCUITest, Espresso, or similar).
  • Experience testing applications deployed on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized environments.
  • Experience with database testing (SQL and NoSQL) and data validation.
  • Solid understanding of web security testing principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into DevOps workflows.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and testing in iterative environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of presenting quality metrics and findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Experience in healthcare or health-tech testing is a plus.
  • Performance and load testing experience is also a plus.
