Job Description

Senior CFO – Advisory Solutions Associate

Chazin & Company

• Serve as a strategic financial advisor to nonprofit clients, supporting executive teams and boards • Develop and maintain multi-year financial forecasts, cash flow projections, and scenario analyses • Lead the preparation and presentation of board reporting packages and management dashboards • Perform high-level financial analysis, identifying trends, opportunities, and risks • Guide clients through budgeting processes, including annual budgets and mid-year reforecasts • Support clients during audits, compliance reviews, and strategic planning sessions • Drive improvements in financial reporting tools and advisory service delivery

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA or CFA license preferred
  • Minimum of six years accounting, financial planning & analysis experience
  • Public accounting experience is preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Proven ability to synthesize complex financial information for diverse audiences
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Proficiency with financial reporting tools
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct, or similar service orientation
  • Experience working independently in a remote environment is preferred
  • Nonprofit accounting experience preferred
