Payment Specialist- Enrollment/Billing Representative Job Summary: The Payment Specialist will analyze, post, balance, and report payments for designated entities and payers to the appropriate billing system(s). The ideal candidate will have knowledge of home infusion, medical billing practices, and payer reimbursement guidelines, as well as strong communication and problem-solving skills. The position requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and proficiency with Microsoft 365. Experience with cash experience, posting payments, and experience reading EOB’s (Explanation of Benefits) is preferred. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - Manage assigned book of business posting payments, completing transfers, correction adjustments and refunds as needed. - Post payments once batch balances. - Record daily cash posting to log. - Balance daily to cash sheet. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: - Strong customer service and interpersonal skills - Effective written and verbal communication - Excellent organization, problem solving skills and attention to detail - Meet the quality assurance and benchmark standards set by the management team - Knowledge of patient accounting systems, third party billing and collections guidelines - Ability to communicate with patients, payers and outside agencies through telephone, electronic and written correspondence. Requirements: - High School diploma or GED - Cash experience, posting payments, and reading EOB’s is required. - Collections or medical billing experience with an understanding of ICD9, CPT4, HCPCS and medical terminology is preferred. - Familiarity with third party payer guidelines, reimbursement practices and available financial resources is preferred. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required. - Experience with ScriptMed a plus. As part of Evernorth Health Services, this role supports CarepathRx within our Pharmacy and Care Delivery organization. Our team focuses on specialty pharmacy and infusion services in partnership with hospitals and health systems. If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload. For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 17.75 - 26 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location. The User Acceptance Tester (UAT) is responsible for planning, documenting, executing, and coordinating User Acceptance Testing activities across business-critical systems. This role partners closely with Business, IT, and Development teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements through comprehensive test coverage, clear documentation, proactive risk identification, and disciplined defect management throughout the testing lifecycle. RESPONSIBILITIES: Core UAT Execution & Planning - Analyze and interpret business requirements, functional specifications, and technical designs to proactively identify all applicable testing scenarios, including positive, negative, boundary, regression, integration, and end-to-end test cases. - Create, document, maintain, and execute detailed UAT test cases and test scenarios with clear steps, expected results, and traceability back to requirements. - Develop and manage UAT test plans, testing schedules, and execution strategies aligned with sprint, release, and deployment timelines. - Actively participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release readiness discussions to ensure testability is addressed early in the delivery lifecycle. Testing Lifecycle & Process Ownership - Demonstrate strong knowledge of the end-to-end testing lifecycle, including test planning, test design, execution, defect management, retesting, regression testing, and UAT sign-off. - Ensure UAT activities align with organizational testing standards, quality gates, and audit requirements. - Identify testing gaps, risks, and dependencies early, and escalate testing barriers or quality concerns in a timely manner. - Actively contribute to continuous improvement of UAT processes, templates, and best practices. Defect Management & Azure DevOps (ADO) - Log, track, and manage defects using Azure DevOps (ADO) with clear reproduction steps, screenshots/logs, severity, priority, and business impact. - Collaborate closely with Development, QA, Business Analysts, and Project Managers to triage defects and validate fixes. - Perform defect retesting and regression testing to confirm resolution and prevent reintroduction of issues. Batch & Integration Testing - Execute and validate batch job testing, including active batch processing, data validation, upstream/downstream dependencies, and error handling scenarios. - Validate data integrity across interfaces, files, and system integrations impacted by batch or scheduled jobs. Documentation & Communication - Produce clear, thorough, and auditable testing documentation, including test cases, execution evidence, defect summaries, and UAT sign-off artifacts. - Communicate testing status, risks, defects, and outcomes effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Provide guidance and support to business testers during UAT execution, including test script clarification and issue troubleshooting.
