• Build and deploy custom model context protocol (MCP) connectors for new and existing services • Design and implement custom agentic workflows using cloud AI platforms • Develop server-side application logic and APIs that integrate AI capabilities with existing enterprise systems • Contribute to the development and maintenance of reusable AI component libraries and shared code infrastructure • Write high-quality code, applying best practices, coding standards, and design patterns for AI systems • Participate in the entire AI solution lifecycle, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment, using an agile, iterative process • Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality through effective testing strategies and security validation • Collaborate with infrastructure teams, security teams, developers, designers, testers, project managers, product managers, and project sponsors • Communicate tasking estimation and progress regularly to a development lead and product owner through appropriate tools • Ensure seamless integration with backend systems, cloud services, databases and messaging systems • Team with other developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth in AI engineering

• Participate across the AI solution lifecycle from requirements and design through development, testing, and deployment • Build and maintain systems that exercise agentic workflows against realistic scenarios, edge cases, and failure conditions • Define contracts, validation, and explicit failure behavior at integration points • Create shared libraries, reference harnesses, and validation utilities that teams can reuse • Architect agentic systems so correctness, safety, and expected behavior are enforced by design • Participate in solution design to identify likely failure patterns in agentic systems • Define and implement cost-conscious evaluation strategies for AI-enabled systems • Work with cross-functional program teams to translate customer and mission needs into concrete evaluation criteria • Communicate estimates, progress, and technical tradeoffs clearly

• Rapid prototyping and demonstration of technical software and hardware solutions in collaboration with developers, designers, product owners, and partner organizations. • Coordinate solution design and architecture with existing product teams. • Analyze technical alternatives and document key decisions. • Address buy / lease / build decisions to support program cost and schedule analysis. • Document architecture and product roadmap in coordination with developers, designers, and product owners. • Support development, test, build, and deployment of software applications to unclassified and classified production environments.

• Lead end-to-end technical architecture for multiple products or services, defining standards and ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability. • Design system interfaces and integration patterns that enable reuse and interoperability across Hypergiant’s C2 portfolio. • Evaluate emerging technologies, conduct build-vs-buy analysis, and document key architectural decisions and trade-offs. • Partner with cloud and infrastructure teams to ensure solutions align with IL4/IL5 and FedRAMP security frameworks. • Provide expert guidance across front-end, back-end, and data layers — enabling high-scale, real-time systems. • Oversee design and implementation reviews to ensure code quality, security, and system reliability. • Drive modernization initiatives (e.g., containerization, observability, CI/CD optimization) across delivery teams. • Collaborate with product owners and technical leads to shape roadmaps and technical milestones that align with program objectives. • Identify and champion reusable frameworks, libraries, and shared components across teams and programs. • Act as the connective tissue between architecture councils, delivery teams, and client stakeholders. • Provide leadership on incident response and system performance issues, leading root cause analysis and long-term resolution. • Mentor and coach engineers across the organization, fostering technical depth and independent problem solving. • Contribute to internal engineering standards, code quality guidelines, and best practices documentation. • Lead by example through hands-on contribution to complex or high-risk projects.
