Concrete Quality Manager

• Direct activities and coordinate the day-to-day quality control system and procedures for the company • Attend project pre-construction meetings to discuss the QMS Program • Manage daily activities of the quality control program • Train team members in the use of the quality control program • Perform administrative set up of projects within the quality program database • Conduct jobsite inspections/audits to ensure that quality controls are in place • Work with Project Managers and Site Managers to ensure quality performance and installation
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or technical/associate degree in a related field
- Ten years related experience or equivalent total of fourteen years experience and education
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be physically present in one of our office locations (Lexington, KY; Charlotte, NC; Birmingham, AL)
- Must be able to travel up to 100%

• Develop and execute commodity strategies to meet GSI NAM Project needs ensuring cost, quality and delivery • Identify, evaluate and manage supplier relationships • Track market trends, commodity prices and risks to implement buy strategies • Partner with Engineering and Supplier Quality team to assess, and qualify new suppliers • Negotiate master supply agreements as well as project-specific agreements for equipment and material • Work closely with Tender Sourcing Leaders on commercial bids to align on commodity strategy, ensuring supplier evaluation and selection is completed in tender stage • Implement operating rhythm for continuous improvement, accountability, and efficiency in supplier engagement in Execution • Drive KPIs: Deflation, DTP, Quality, Compliance, OTD • Source and develop certified minority, veteran-owned, women-owned, and small business suppliers to achieve customer requirements • Ensure compliance with GE sourcing policies and procedures
• Accountable for the operational delivery of clinical study/studies to time, quality, and budget • Supporting decision-making at pace and leading study team to achieve overall study deliverables • Proactively and effectively identifies, oversees, and mitigates study risks • Ensures appropriate stakeholder communication, including study status, expectations, risks and issues • Responsible for operational input into protocol and informed consent form development • Leads and conducts investigator meetings and other study related meetings • Leads quality efforts to ensure protocol compliance and continual inspection readiness for assigned studies
• Act as the central orchestrator for regional initiatives, managing task mapping, resource allocation, and prioritization to ensure timely delivery of projects. • Lead the regional design workflow by managing and prioritizing creative requests from CRM, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure high-quality output without bottlenecks. • Own and maintain the regional Confluence space, documenting processes, project post-mortems, and operational playbooks. • Serve as the right hand to the Head, facilitating communication with external partners and global teams to align regional needs with global standards. • Identify operational inefficiencies between departments and implement scalable solutions to improve cross-functional collaboration and delivery.
