Overview We are currently seeking a .NET Developer as a 1099 Contractor to support software development projects located in Frederick, MD. Your primary responsibilities will be to design and develop ASP.NET Web applications. Problem solving, design, and high-quality coding skills are essential. Work can be performed remotely within the Continental United States. Responsibilities - Develops, tests and implements high-quality solutions on the Microsoft technology stack using the latest technologies, techniques and industry best practices. - Analyzes requirements and works collaboratively to design new functionality. - Supporting and fixing existing functionality. - Conducts unit and integration system tests; monitors test results; and takes required corrective action. - Core Software Development Foundations (.NET Ecosystem). - Perform Database and Daya Layer Fundamentals (SQL or TSQL). - Application Architecture and API Development. - MSFT Azure Cloud Fundamentals. - DevOps, CI/ID, and Infrastructure Awareness. Qualifications - U.S. Citizenship is required. - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar degree. - Proficiency in programming concepts using C# and .NET frameworks. - Understanding application structure, libraries, APIs, dependency management, exception handling, and secure coding fundamentals. - Working knowledge of relational database concepts, including table design, indexing, relationships, normalization, and transactions. - Proficiency in SQL and T-SQL; writing queries, joins, stored procedures, views and performance tuning. - Knowledge of modern application architectures layered architectures, and service-based designs. - Experience with API development, data serialization formats, authentication concepts, and API version. - Knowledge of MSFT Azure including core services such as Asure App Service, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, Azure Virtual Networks, and Azure Active Directory. - Understanding cloud concepts such as scalability, availability, and share responsibility. - Knowledge of basic DevOps principles, including source control, build and release pipelines, and automated testing concepts.
