• Research, analyze and predict software engineering trends and innovations • Monitor the competitive landscape across software engineering tools and solutions • Create high-quality research reports and thought leadership content • Advise senior executives on strategic decisions through interactions • Create and deliver high-value presentations at Gartner events and client briefings • Build external credibility to represent Gartner research and insights • Provide sales support to engage prospects and clients • Actively participate in innovation and research discussions • Develop in-depth analysis to identify client needs and drive strategy
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred
- 12+ years of relevant field or industry experience
- Experience leading a software engineering organization
- Deep knowledge of software architecture principles for SaaS platforms
- Up-to-date knowledge of AI development tools
- Demonstrate executive presence; can establish credibility with executives and stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills; ability to work under tight deadlines
- Excellent research and writing ability
- Strong analytical and presentation skills; ability to engage clients
- Proficient in analyzing and synthesizing data; defend conclusions to client challenges
- Strong communicator; able to explain complex concepts simply
- Subject matter expert comfortable presenting at engagements
