Job Requirements

- Domain expertise in Plan to Stock processes, analytics platforms, PLM and artwork/labeling management platforms, and supply and demand planning tools
- Hands-on experience deploying AI/ML-driven optimization or IoT-enabled inventory visibility solutions

- Formal certifications in PMP, TOGAF, ITIL, or relevant supply chain/technology disciplines

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role The Global Supply Chain Financial Controller is a senior leader within the Controllership organization responsible for establishing and governing a unified financial control environment across Solventum’s global supply chain. This position plays a critical role in driving global consistency, leading transformation initiatives, and elevating financial governance across regions. The Controller partners closely with the Global Supply Chain Finance SVP, regional controllers (Americas, EMEA, APAC), manufacturing sites, logistics, procurement, planning, facilities & engineering, strategy and FP&A to deliver insight, reduce risk, and ensure end‑to‑end integrity of supply chain financial results. Preferred Qualifications - Prior in‑house experience on high‑impact legal teams at a fintech, financial services, or technology company; start‑up or high‑growth company experience is a plus; - Experience leading and closing complex commercial negotiations (for example, strategic SaaS, data, or infrastructure vendor deals); - Genuine curiosity about how Upstart’s business works and a desire to jump in cross‑functionally to help teams solve problems, even when the work sits outside traditional legal lanes; - Over time, a desire to mentor and collaborate with other members of the legal team, and to help build efficient, scalable processes as we grow and evolve; - Strong communication skills with a demonstrated ability to translate complex legal and risk concepts into clear, actionable guidance for non‑lawyers; - Eagerness to dive into new products, AI and data issues, and unfamiliar areas of law with a solutions‑oriented, low‑ego mindset; and - Entrepreneurial drive who sees ambiguity as opportunity, and obstacles as chances to build new solutions. Travel requirements As a digital first company, the majority of your work can be accomplished remotely. The anticipated base salary for this position is expected to be within the below range. Your actual base pay will depend on your geographic location–with our “digital first” philosophy, Upstart uses compensation regions that vary depending on location.
