Corporate Development Manager
Circle
• As a member of the Corporate Development and Ventures Team, you will help drive acquisition, investment, and joint venture deal evaluation, execution, and success. • Collaborate across our team and Circle to share knowledge, align priorities, and surface sound decisions that drive impact in shaping company and product strategy. • Maintain and grow a powerful network of relationships with experts that bolsters Circle’s access to information, opportunity, and deal flow. • Drive insights and organizational alignment for Circle leaders and teams to understand where and how to engage for impact. • Use new technologies/AI to hunt for signals in the noise — from founders, funds, internal teams, and the broader market — and translate it into action.
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, consulting, or other relevant roles with a strong track record of deals negotiation and execution.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with ability to distill complex concepts into clear insights and recommendations that influence and inspire others.
- Excellent intrinsic capabilities, including strong quantitative and analytical skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong executive presence, high motivation, excellent problem solving skills, high work ethic, low ego, deep intellectual curiosity for crypto.
- Ability to build relationships (internally and externally) and drive projects/deals in a rapid paced corporate and industry environment.
- Experience in assessing industries, trends, futures and the ability to distill and articulate the most important drivers.
- Comfort navigating ambiguity with a bias toward building structured execution and always seeking opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with generative AI models (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) and prompt development.
