American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN)

• Leads the planning, execution and scaling of community-based health equity initiatives • Manages strategic programs including Health Equity Ambassadors and Pfizer Change the Odds • Operationalizes community-driven strategies • Strengthens partnerships and delivers measurable impact in cancer prevention • Monitors, evaluates and reports program performance • Facilitates cross-functional collaboration across ACS teams

• Identify and interview potential storytellers • Assist in the development of diverse stories • Support execution of a media plan • Package Medicaid stories for social media • Consult on campaign strategies and implementation • Establish collaborations with community influencers

• Support the Director of Legal Technology & Insights in advancing key technology, data, and operational initiatives within the Legal and Risk Management Department • Assist with research, compliance tracking, and maintenance of governance materials and process documentation to support evaluation of legal technology tools and documentation of system standards • Facilitate implementation of legal technology solutions by helping with requirements gathering, testing, workflow optimization, vendor coordination, and project milestone tracking • Drive data-driven legal operations by gathering and validating datasets, maintaining reporting templates, and conducting research and trend analysis to inform forecasting and strategic insights • Contributes to knowledge management and user enablement by organizing and updating templates and guidance materials, assisting with communications and training for new technologies, and monitoring user feedback to improve tools and processes

• Assist with the maintenance and organization of the Lawmaker Profile Library • Support updates to the Cancer Action Day Toolkit to ensure accuracy and usability for advocates • Participate in and assist with planning sessions for state legislative campaigns • Develop materials and resources aimed at increasing the effectiveness of legislative campaigns • Collaborate with Senior Managers to provide operational support to state Grassroots Managers

• Developing a centralized data management system for patient and health system impact stories. • Creating a system to search and manage evidence-based interventions and best practices across our programs. • Collaborating with Intern's manager, mentor, and team 85% of the time.

• Support the American Cancer Society’s compliance and risk-mitigation activities • Conduct research and summarize regulatory requirements across U.S. jurisdictions • Conduct content review and clean-up of intranet resource guides • Develop internal training materials • Assist with special projects

• Manage end-to-end Marketing Project Lifecycle • Lead multiple projects across varying business portfolios from planning to implementation • Oversee integration of marketing tactics across all channels • Develop comprehensive project plans • Analyze project progress and adapt scope as needed • Facilitate project retrospective reviews and manage resources

• Develop and implement comprehensive local and state grassroots strategies and advocacy campaigns • Organize volunteers to complete federal activities in collaboration with national team. • Write and disseminate e-mails to volunteers, legislative alerts, issue talking points, and training curriculum. • Plan and manage lobby days or similar events, including virtual, to drive engagement and policy wins. • Identify and develop volunteers with personal stories related to ACS CAN's policy campaigns. • Drive volunteer fundraising in the assigned state(s).
