• Research, analyze and predict software engineering trends and innovations • Monitor and evaluate the competitive landscape across software engineering tool vendors, solutions, and service providers • Create compelling, high-quality research reports, white papers, and thought leadership content that provides clients with actionable insights • Develop frameworks, methodologies, and best practices to help organizations successfully implement solutions • Advise senior executives on their strategic decisions through virtual and face-to-face interactions • Create and deliver high value presentations at Gartner events, industry and professional association conferences, and client briefings • Build external credibility as an industry expert to represent Gartner research and insights • Provide sales support to help drive engagement with prospects and clients • Actively participate in innovation, ideation, and research discussions and collaborate effectively with peers within the Gartner research community • Develop in-depth analysis to identify the root cause of a client’s barriers or overall needs and reframe thinking to drive strategy forward • Demonstrate thought leadership in establishing research positions across a team of analysts

• Create data visualizations for real-time insights • Improve render, load, and scroll performance • Adapt dashboard for various screen types • Build reusable visualization components

• Develop new features across the stack (React frontend + Java and Python backend) • Design and implement integrations with external cloud and SDLC systems • Contribute to architecture discussions and solution design • Write ensure code quality across services • Work independently on end-to-end feature delivery • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, demos) • Lead daily standups and retrospectives (rotation-based) • Collaborate with DevOps engineers on deployments and environment support • Help mitigate technical debt and improve codebase maintainability

• Lead large, complex, cross-team technical projects • Think deeply about technology and architecture choices in your domains, communicate trade-offs, and often take the decisions • Contribute directly to high and low level design and write code • Serve as a role model and inspiration to other engineers for how to build software • Work closely with product managers, designers and engineers across multiple platforms and domains • Collaborate with other principal and senior engineers in the organization on org wide platform, process and technology choices • Initiate and lead technical projects and changes to existing processes, that will improve the quality of our codebase and systems, reduce technical debt and improve our developer productivity • Mentor engineers in the organization, imparting technical knowledge, industry best practices and leadership skills • Build deep product and business domain knowledge in paying users and vertical domains, and use it to build innovative features for our users.
