Senior Service Manager – Staff Management

Switzerland Global Enterprise

• Lead and manage the Field Services Engineers Team within the region • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers • Develop and execute strategies to increase service sales, profitability, and market share • Lead, coach, and develop Field Engineers and service professionals • Ensure Field Engineers and contractors are fully trained, competent, and certified • Monitor business performance through key performance indicators • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless service delivery • Manage the regional service portfolio, training agenda, service offerings, supplier strategy, asset budget, and compliance with company policies • Promote a strong culture of safety and continuous improvement • Participate and lead business Lean process • Manage and support the Installed base initiative

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Automation, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering from an accredited college or university
  • Proven experience in turbomachinery, including power generation, industrial plant automation, or oil and gas sectors.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 40% of the time, as required
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Previous commercial or project management experience and SAP and Services Max expertise
  • GE Gas Turbine, GE Steam Turbine and BOP knowledge and GE Turbine Control engineering or services commissioning for MkV, MkVI, and/or MkVIe experience
  • Historian, Proficy, and HMI Application Configuration Engineering and Installation Experience, both current and legacy
  • Knowledge on Excitation systems, mainly from GE (EX2100/2100e)

The Senior Construction Manager oversees new construction, acquisition conversion work and capital projects for the Sun Auto Brand Portfolio. This role defines, prioritizes, and provides oversight for construction project work for the Sun Auto store network. The Senior Construction Manager works in a team environment with key stakeholders to deliver company performance objectives. Travel up to 60% required. Responsibilities - Oversees new store construction activities to achieve timely and cost-effective completion of projects, achieving annual plan goals. - Responsibilities include site feasibility and plan approval. - Interaction and oversight of assigned developers to ensure compliance with construction documents. - Bid process, award and oversight of owner furnished vendors. - Quality assurance and closeout of developer and owner delivered project scopes. - Delivery of completed project to company operations. - Evaluates and recommends continuous improvement to standards and specifications. - Manages conversion of acquired locations to company standards, including scope preparation, budgeting, required architectural plans, permits & zoning, bid process, project oversight, internal reporting, quality assurance, and project close out. - Responsible for coordination with operations to ensure delivery of projects consistent with project scope, specifications, and approved budget. - Manages remodel and other property improvement construction activities in Sun Auto locations. - Acts as owner’s representative to ensure work of general contractors and subcontractors meet scope and schedule. - Ensures quality and conformance to standards. - Responsible for defining, qualifying, and maintaining key contractors and subcontractors by geography. - Evaluates and recommends continuous improvement to standards and specifications to deliver cost-effective spend. Qualifications - A minimum of 10 years of corporate retail construction management. - BS/BA Degree in Engineering or Construction Management strongly preferred. - Proven experience in store construction and facility improvements. - Knowledge of plan interpretation and scope development. - Contract analysis, negotiation, and budgeting. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, essential. - Ability to establish priorities and execute store construction & upgrades within pre-established timelines. - Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders. - Demonstrates decisiveness in resolving problems. - Ability to travel up to 60%.
