Director of Conservation Portfolio Management – Southern Division
The Nature Conservancy
• Provides strategic leadership and support for the Conservancy’s conservation planning work. • Establishes overall conservation priorities for the Division and major programs and initiatives. • Leads the development, implementation, and communication of the portfolio, strategy, and budget review processes associated with the DCP. • Manages the Division Conservation Portfolio (DCP). • Coordinates, directs, leads, and/or participates in implementing complex diverse projects, encompassing multiple programs and coordinating the work of other professionals. • Disseminates best practices, provides training and analyses to best implement organizational measures of success.
Job Requirements
- BA/BS degree and 10 years’ experience in conservation practice or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience directing a major program or project of strategic importance, including management/supervision of multi-disciplinary teams and meeting deadlines.
- Experience working with current trends and practices in relevant discipline(s) and geographic regions.
- Supervisory experience, including motivating, leading, setting objectives and managing performance.
- Experience in partnership development with non-profit partners, community groups and/or government agencies.
- Experience negotiating.
- Experience influencing, developing and implementing conservation policy and plans at the state or country level.
- Experience with financial management of a large program.

Role Description We’re hiring a Director of Sales, Agent and Brokerage Partnerships to build, scale, and own HomeCloud’s agent partnership ecosystem. This is a senior individual-contributor role with full revenue ownership across assigned markets, and a clear path to future team leadership as the channel scales. You’ll create deep, trusted relationships with agents and brokerages, drive partner-sourced revenue, and serve as the voice of the agent inside HomeCloud. You’ll work cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, Product, and Construction to ensure agents and their clients have an exceptional experience – from first introduction through long-term partnership. This is a high-impact, high-ownership role with direct visibility to executive leadership. Key Responsibilities - Revenue Ownership and Strategic Sales - Own the agent and brokerage sales pipeline and outcomes in assigned markets. - Identify, pursue, and close top-producing agents, teams, and brokerage relationships. - Run a consultative sales process: discovery, tailored pitch, objections, close, onboarding handoff. - Create account plans for high-value partners and drive multi-deal expansion over time. - Presentations and Market Execution - Deliver high-quality presentations to brokerage meetings, team standups, and partner events. - Plan and execute in-person and virtual partner activations (lunch-and-learns, trainings, office hours). - Represent HomeCloud at key local industry events and build a strong referral presence. - Pipeline Management and Forecasting (HubSpot Discipline) - Maintain clean CRM hygiene: stage accuracy, next steps, close dates, notes, and follow-ups. - Provide weekly forecasts and pipeline reporting to leadership. - Track conversion rates and leading indicators (meetings held, presentations delivered, activation rates) and improve performance through iteration. - Partner Experience and Feedback Loops - Serve as the voice of the agent, translating partner feedback into actionable input for Product, Operations, and Construction. - Coordinate with Partner Success and Operations to ensure a smooth onboarding and first-transaction experience. - Reinforce correct positioning and language in-market (clear, accurate, non-alarmist, aligned with HomeCloud standards). - Strategic Partnerships (Brokerage and Adjacent) - Build brokerage-level relationships that drive repeatable partner flow. - Support selective expansion into adjacent partnerships (builders, proptech platforms) when they accelerate agent channel growth. What Success Looks Like (First 6 to 12 Months) - A predictable pipeline of top-producer agents and brokerage relationships in priority markets. - Consistent cadence of brokerage presentations and partner activations that translate into volume. - Strong partner activation and retention, with clear expansion paths in top accounts. - Accurate weekly forecasting and high CRM data quality that leadership can trust. Qualifications - 5+ years experience in strategic partnerships, channel sales, or business development. - Proven track record of driving revenue through partnerships. - Experience building a partnership program from early stages to scale. - Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-management skills. - Ability to utilize the latest sales technology, including building out AI workflows. - Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias toward action and iteration. - Comfortable working independently in a remote, asynchronous environment. - Willingness to travel up to 25% and close business in-person.
