Responsibilities - Process and administer payroll for all employees accurately and on time. - Maintain payroll records and documentation to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements. - Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and payment discrepancies. - Support the onboarding process by entering new employee data into the payroll system. - Prepare and distribute payroll reports for management review as needed. - Assist in the year-end payroll process, including tax reporting and W-2 distribution. - Collaborate with the HR department to ensure proper maintenance of payroll and employee records.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in accounting or finance is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Payroll Clerk or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of payroll, tax regulations, and employment laws.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines.
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and professionally.
