Role Description Be at the forefront of how Zip transforms enterprise procurement through AI. As an AI Forward Deployed Engineer, you will: - Embed directly inside our most strategic accounts to uncover operational problems. - Build working solutions using Zip's agent infrastructure and AppStudio. - Own a small book of enterprise accounts end-to-end, expanding the scope of what we are solving. - Measure success by solving the customer's highest-priority problems. - Work across procurement, finance, legal, and risk workflows. - Be mission-driven, move fast, and drive outcomes for customers. - Earn trust quickly inside an enterprise with domain knowledge and technical fluency. You will: - Embed with enterprise customers to understand procurement and adjacent workflows. - Build and deploy AI agent solutions configured to the customer's specific environment. - Own the customer relationship and manage parallel workstreams across a small portfolio of accounts. - Surface the next problem worth solving with commercial instinct. - Produce architecture documentation capturing what was built and why. - Feed structured learnings back to product and engineering. - Represent Zip on-site at customer locations when required. Qualifications - 3+ years working directly with SAP Ariba. - Direct experience building with AI: AI agents or automated workflows using Claude, N8N, Make, Zapier, or similar. - A track record of owning complex customer engagements independently. - Enough technical fluency to build integrations and diagnose workflow failures. Requirements - The salary range for this role is $130,000- $170,000 OTE. - The salary is determined based on job-related factors including location, relevant experience, education, or particular skills and expertise. • Partner with Zip’s leadership to define hiring needs and ideal candidate profiles • Source a large pipeline of high quality candidates across 3-4 high business priority roles at a given time • Effectively source and attract a diverse pool of candidates • Engage with a high bar of candidates, vet and screen them, and manage interviewing and hiring process from start to finish • Lead compensation conversations and negotiation • Do whatever it takes to close the best candidates + deliver a great interviewing experience • Track recruiting metrics and performance to continuously improve the recruiting processes

• Effectively identify and attract Software Engineering, Product & Design candidates • Source a large pipeline of high quality candidates across evergreen or high priority roles • Engage exceptional technical candidates, engage and vet them, and manage interviewing and hiring processes, keeping candidate experience top of mind • Partner with Zip’s leaders to define hiring needs and ideal candidate profiles • Partner closely with cross-functional team members to land successful • Track recruiting metrics and performance to continuously improve Zip's recruiting processes

• Serve as the central point of contact for inbound RFx requests (RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, security questionnaires), logging, tracking, and triaging submissions in the intake system. • Apply qualification criteria to assess fit, resource requirements, and deadlines, and route opportunities to the right owners with clear context. • Coordinate contributions from sales, subject-matter experts, legal, finance, and leadership to keep proposal timelines on track. • Draft, edit, and assemble proposal content, ensuring a consistent voice, factual accuracy, and compliance with submission requirements. • Manage reviews, approvals, and version control through to final submission. • Support a team of RFx contractors on quality assurance, serving as a first point of contact for questions, blockers, and at-risk deadlines. • Contribute to the content repository following internal content management processes.

• You’ll work closely with our Engineering, Product, and Design (EPD) teams while reporting to Engineering to design, maintain, and iterate on Zip-owned ERP and integration templates that power scalable, repeatable customer implementations. • Architect & standardize Workday integrations: Design, maintain, and iterate on Zip’s core Workday Financials and Procurement integration templates, ensuring they deliver scalable, repeatable, and robust customer implementations. • Bridge product & the field: Work closely with Engineering, Product, and Design (EPD) to ensure integration templates stay perfectly aligned with core product architecture, field insights, and emerging customer needs. • Turn nuance into scale: Analyze complex customer implementations to identify reusable data mapping patterns and system nuances, converting bespoke solutions into standardized internal assets. • Support pre-sales engineering: Partner with account teams during pre-sales to design and vet integration architectures, ensuring prospective customers are set up for smooth, best-practice deployments. • Drive technical implementation excellence: Define, document, and champion technical solution consulting best practices, raising the technical bar and driving consistency across all implementations. • Become a Multi-ERP expert: Leverage your existing Workday, P2P, and financial systems expertise to build deep fluency across additional ERP ecosystems, ultimately becoming the ultimate subject matter expert on integration architecture, data models, and Zip’s App Studio. • Build for permanent scale: Approach every technical challenge with an engineering mindset - designing and executing a solution thoroughly once so that future implementations happen effortlessly. • Own SE Onboarding & Ramp • Design and deliver a structured ramp program for new SEs including covering platform depth, demo certification, discovery methodology, and technical objection handling. Track ramp KPIs and iterate to accelerate time-to-readiness. • Drive Ongoing Technical Readiness • Build and maintain a continuous learning program that keeps SEs sharp as the product evolves. Partner with Product and PMM to operationalize new releases, competitive shifts, and messaging updates into field-ready training. • Build and Maintain SE Certifications • Own the SE certification framework including demo quality, technical discovery, and RFx readiness. Run bi-annual refreshes in partnership with SE leadership and use AI roleplay tools (e.g. LetterAI) to scale practice and coaching. • Enable Competitive & Vertical Depth • Develop programs that arm SEs with the technical differentiation, industry context, and ERP/integration knowledge (e.g. SAP) needed to win in enterprise deals. • Leverage Data to Improve Performance • Use Gong call intelligence, competency assessments, and win/loss data to identify gaps in technical delivery, narrative quality, and demo effectiveness then build targeted interventions to close those gaps. • Partner Cross-Functionally • Act as the connective tissue between SE leadership, PMM, Product, and RevOps to ensure SE enablement is tightly aligned with GTM strategy, product launches, and competitive priorities. • Measure What Matters • Track leading indicators (demo certification pass rates, call quality scores, competitive win rates, early-stage conversion) and lagging indicators (win rate, deal velocity, ACV) to demonstrate enablement impact.
