THE OPPORTUNITY Wavicle is hiring an Engagement Manager who has experience and a passion for solving complex business problems across a variety of industries leveraging Data & Analytic technologies. As an Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for the P&L of an account and building those strong relationships with the client’s IT and business stakeholders. It is your responsibility to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget, and you are working as a trusted advisor to the client’s executive leadership team to identify ways in which business outcomes can be improved through the use of data & analytic solutions. Wavicle is growing rapidly, we are seeking experienced consulting leaders who want to be a part of our growth journey. It is essential that as an Engagement Manager, you have directly participated in the technical implementation of these types of solutions (i.e. Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Data Lakehouse, etc.). You will lead by example and are measured on your billable utilization, revenue goals, participation in the building of the organization and thought leader contributions. What You Will Do: Delivery Management - Manage Client expectations and provide regular feedback. - Setup and manage 1:1 meeting cadence with key stakeholders. - Meet or exceed established project timelines and deliverables. - Provide quality results that will maintain and increase Client portfolio. - Effectively communicate with Clients and team members. - Enable the daily operations of current team. - Motivate team members to improve the client’s audience engagement. - Engage regularly with team members virtually or in person to ensure quality work is being produced and deadlines are being met. Account & Strategic Development - Identify business needs and desired outcomes through thoughtful and strategic client interviews. - Define the client’s audience and build a growth strategy that will increase engagement. - Develop compelling proposals and statements of work to address client needs and expand the pipeline. - Evaluate, analyze and mitigate risks and exposures. - Conduct and oversee qualitative and quantitative research, stakeholder segmentation and surveying. What You Bring: - 10+ years of experience of successfully delivering Data & Analytic solutions (cloud migration, data warehouse, data lake using big data and cloud technologies). - Experience working as an Engagement Manager/Program Manager/Lead with a strategic/management consulting organization. - Experience with cloud-based analytics implementations, preferably AWS or Azure. - Experience working with C-Level executives, IT leadership and Business leadership and operating as a "Trusted Advisor". - Demonstrated experience meeting target of $2-4M annually in invoiced revenue sales through account expansion or new logos. - Experience creating, presenting and delivering strong proposals that solve the client's business problem. - Experience with negotiating MSA/SOW's with client leadership and legal teams. - Demonstrated experience in building strong delivery teams. - Strong verbal and oral communication skills and be a self-starter. - Strong ability to motivate and influence others to drive results. - Comprehensive knowledge of data collections and analysis. - PMP, SAFe and/or SCRUM certification is preferred. - Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or related field is required. - Work from home opportunity; however, must be open to travel nationally up to 25% to client location in order to build and foster strong business relationships.
