Role Description Veritone is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join our engineering organization and help drive quality across our product suite. You'll be a technically strong individual contributor who writes reliable automation code, collaborates closely with Product and Engineering and takes ownership of test coverage for complex features and services. At the Senior level, you'll play a key role in maturing our test automation practices and raising the quality bar across your team. What You'll Do - Build and maintain end-to-end test automation frameworks and test suites using Cypress or comparable tools - Own test coverage for assigned features and regression suites across web, API and integration layers - Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.) alongside engineering partners - Follow and contribute to QA standards, best practices and coverage criteria established by the team - Participate in risk-based test planning and prioritization for multi-service features and releases - Collaborate with developers through code reviews and pairing to promote testability and quality - Champion quality in sprint planning and design discussions — helping shift testing earlier in the cycle - Identify gaps in tooling or processes and propose improvements within your team's scope Qualifications - 3–5 years of QA engineering experience with a strong automation focus - Hands-on experience with Cypress, Playwright or a comparable modern test automation framework - Proficiency in at least one programming language — JavaScript/TypeScript strongly preferred - Working knowledge of REST API testing using tools such as Postman - Experience running automated test suites in CI/CD environments - Solid understanding of testing methodologies: unit, integration, end-to-end, regression and exploratory testing - Good debugging skills and ability to trace failures across web and API layers Bonus Points If - Experience with enterprise SaaS or AI/ML-powered products - Familiarity with performance/load testing tools such as k6 or JMeter - Exposure to cloud infrastructure or microservices architectures (AWS, GCP, Kubernetes) - Experience in regulated or public-sector environments (gov-tech, law enforcement, compliance-heavy verticals) Disclosure Our company provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics. • Own the technical pre-sales journey, transforming product complexity into undeniable client impact • Bridge the gap between Sales, Product, and Implementation teams • Act as the primary Subject Matter Expert for ATS (Applicant Tracking System) integrations • Join discovery calls to diagnose customer pain points and ensure alignment between their tech stack and our products • Lead the technical scoping for Programmatic customers and high-value SaaS deals • Draft technical requirements for SOWs and lead the response for RFPs • Self-directed technical implementation of clients with existing ATS integrations • Act as the primary resource for new integrations using Kombo as a 3rd party integrator • Serve as the lead resource when existing customers undergo an ATS migration • Own the tracking phase of the journey—testing and validating Server-to-Server connections and pixels

You will design, build and champion innovative and useful features to our Platform UI for the world’s first operating system for artificial intelligence, aiWARE. • Lead the Company’s SEC reporting process • This includes the preparation, distribution and filing of the 10-Q quarterly and 10-K annual SEC filing requirements • The role will also support the Company’s periodic filing requirements as needed • Coordination of the Company’s quarterly earnings release and associated SEC filing • Monitor and ensure timely identification of, and compliance with, accounting guidance utilizing all available tools • Provide GAAP interpretations and documentation of issues in a clear and comprehensive manner, including preparing accounting memos supporting the Company’s position • Monitor the peer group SEC filings to identify industry trends which should be considered in the Company’s disclosures • Management and execution of internal controls and governance procedures supporting the Company’s Sarbanes-Oxley requirements related to financial reporting • Coordinate the quarterly review and annual audit procedures performed by the external auditors • Support the process to routinely communicate with the Audit Committee or Board of Directors on significant accounting, disclosure or internal control items impacting the Company and its disclosures • Management and implementation of new accounting pronouncements including ASC 606 on revenue recognition • Manage monthly accounting for stock-based compensation and other equity transactions • Internal and external financial reporting requirements, as needed • Assist in the monthly close process as needed • Ad hoc reporting and special projects as assigned
