Role Description The Senior Manager, Identity and Access Management (IDAM) is a key leader in the organization, responsible for designing and overseeing a comprehensive IAM strategy that safeguards critical systems, data, and applications. How You Will Make An Impact The Brand Manager, LATAM, is responsible for leading specific creative campaigns, from Communication Plan development, execution and tracking, planning and execution of media marketing activities to support the localization and expansion of the brand in one of VGO’s key strategic growth markets: México. They will work closely with the other members of the LATAM equity and marketing team and serve as LATAM’s project leader with the local creative agencies. The Brand Manager, LATAM is also responsible for the management of LATAM’s sponsorships and premium programs, driving local and global partnerships by partnering with key stakeholders and VGO’s global COEs. This person will ensure creative materials and any deliverables are consistent throughout the region and optimized to drive premium brand perception and product consideration. They are also expected to partner with VGO’s COEs on brand development to deliver cohesive local brand strategies that drive excitement and affinity. This role is charged with shaping the future of Valvoline’s brand presence in support of LATAM’s goals and objectives, contributing to the brand’s aspirational goal of becoming top 3 in the category by 2030. Key Responsibilities Include - Partner with Equity, Product, and Trade Marketing to develop and implement a strategic communications plan that shows key brand, product, promotions, partnerships, events, and corporate initiatives. - Lead select brand campaigns tied to the OGSM, including global integrations, local tropicalizations, and performance management. - Management of LATAM's sponsorships, local and global, partnering with key internal stakeholders and global COEs. - Set the channel KPIs for paid digital advertising in accordance with the LATAM Brand OGSM and closely monitor and report out on results while managing budget and resources effectively. - Help the Sr. Brand Manager (Equity) and the LATAM Team track the full LATAM marketing budget and work closely with finance to support monthly reports. - Work closely with media, equity, product, trade marketing, and relevant internal stakeholders, as well as external agencies, proactively optimizing content and campaigns based on campaign results, business requirements, and industry trends. - Manage Mecánicos del Mañana Program with VGO’s Global COE (Corporate Communications) and looking for new opportunities to leverage and to expand this initiative. - Be an inspiring peer and help develop out-of-the-box and first-to-market content and activations (i.e. Livestreams, podcasts, forum events, PR, etc.) in harmony with brand objectives and activations that will ultimately drive brand awareness, loyalty, and retention. - Recommend refinement of processes or workflows if necessary for equity activities to boost awareness and relevance for the market and drive internal workflow efficiencies. What You’ll Need - Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in marketing or business development role, ideally within a distributor business model or an equivalent combination of experience and education. - Bachelor’s degree required; BA in Journalism, Marketing, or Mass Communications - Experience with paid media (traditional, social media, website, SEO) and working with creative/digital agencies - Experience leading brand content strategies, editorial plans, and productions - Experience managing external clients/partners without oversight - Experience managing budgets - Experience managing agency partners - Ability to analyze data to make informed decisions and ability to present reports and actionable data to external partners and internal senior executives. - A portfolio of work that showcases all the components of leading high-impact communication, creative, and media campaigns, including strategy, ideation, execution, establishing, and reporting KPIs a plus - Bilingual, with exceptional verbal and written communication abilities - Seasoned in designing brand communication strategies and overseeing production - Knowledge of the latest best practices, tools, and trends on social media platforms related to YouTube, Instagram, Instagram stories, IGTV, Instagram Live, TikTok, Meta/Meta Live, Pinterest, Twitter, Amazon Live, etc. - Exceptional relationship management skills; able to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners - Highly structured, focused, and organized; Adept at crafting structures and operational processes to ensure consistent, repeatable outcomes - Ability to work efficiently under pressure, managing multiple priorities with tight deadlines - Excellent time management, organization, and prioritization skills that enable you to deliver against quick deadlines. - Ability to travel up to 15% What Will Set You Apart - Passion for the automotive and DIY culture #LI-MW1 Valvoline Global is an equal opportunity employer.
