• Manage and continuously improve the IT ticketing system; ensure timely, high-quality resolution of employee support requests • Serve as escalation point for complex technical issues across hardware, software, and networking • Establish and document standard operating procedures for common IT requests and workflows • Oversee procurement, configuration, deployment, and lifecycle management of laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals • Maintain accurate asset inventory and enforce device management policies (MDM) • Manage onboarding and offboarding IT processes for all employees • Own the company's software stack — evaluate, procure, and manage licenses across SaaS tools, productivity suites, and business applications • Track license utilization, identify redundancies, and optimize spend • Ensure compliance with all software licensing agreements • Implement and maintain foundational cybersecurity controls: endpoint protection, MFA, SSO, access management, email security, and data backup • Develop and enforce security policies and train employees on best practices • Monitor for threats and coordinate response to security incidents • Work toward compliance with relevant security frameworks as the business scales (SOC 2, etc.) • Manage relationships with IT vendors, ISPs, and managed service providers • Own the IT budget — track spend, negotiate contracts, and identify cost-saving opportunities • Evaluate and recommend new tools and technology investments with a clear ROI lens • Partner with leadership to align IT capabilities with business goals • Build a scalable IT roadmap that anticipates growth from 80 to 200+ employees • Evaluate build vs. buy decisions and make recommendations with supporting analysis.
• Oversee day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, and month-end close processes. • Ensure accurate and timely financial records and maintain strong financial discipline across the organization. • Establish and maintain internal financial controls and policies appropriate for the company’s stage of growth. • Own P&L management, analyzing financial performance and identifying the key drivers behind financial results. • Conduct variance analysis to identify differences between forecasted and actual performance and provide insights into underlying causes. • Lead the budgeting and annual planning process in collaboration with department leaders. • Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts and manage liquidity to ensure the company maintains clear visibility into its financial position. • Monitor financial trends and proactively flag risks or opportunities before they impact operations. • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports that are clear, accurate, and actionable for leadership. • Translate financial data into insights that support business decision-making. • Manage relationships with banks, credit facilities, and financial partners. • Oversee vendor payment terms and financial obligations. • Coordinate tax preparation and compliance with external CPA firms and advisors. • Continuously assess opportunities to improve financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities. • Identify where the finance function needs to grow and help build the foundation for future team expansion.
• Own compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, Title VII) across a remote, multi-state US workforce • Maintain and update the employee handbook, policies, and SOPs in partnership with the VP of People • Manage leave of absence administration including FMLA, parental leave, and accommodation requests • Conduct regular compliance audits and proactively flag required policy updates • Own full-cycle recruiting for US-based roles: intake through offer close • Implement and manage structured hiring processes including scorecards, interview guides, and candidate communication • Partner with hiring managers to define requirements and build pipelines aligned with headcount plans • Execute the structured US onboarding program to integrate new hires within their first 90 days • Track and report on recruiting metrics: time-to-fill, pipeline quality, offer acceptance rate, and 90-day retention • Manage employee relations matters, including workplace concerns, investigations, documentation, and resolution • Administer employee benefits programs (health insurance, retirement, PTO, leave policies) and serve as primary point of contact for employee benefit questions • Own US payroll coordination through ADP: accurate and timely data submission each pay cycle • Execute and administer performance review cycles across the organization: scheduling, manager preparation, documentation, calibration logistics, and follow-up tracking • Coach managers on performance conversations, feedback delivery, and progressive discipline • Support managers through the PIP process: provide templates, review for compliance, track milestones, and ensure documentation through resolution • Administer the 360 Learning LMS: content deployment, user management, completion tracking, and engagement reporting • Coordinate learning program logistics across US and international teams • Partner with VP of People on development program rollout and career pathing initiatives • Own the contractor compliance lifecycle: classification reviews, agreement execution, renewals, SOW management, and offboarding • Maintain a centralized contractor registry and conduct regular classification audits • Coordinate with VP of People on non-standard arrangements and compliance escalations
