• Provide on-demand and scheduled remote technical support services for Key Accounts customers. • Perform remote Building Automation System (BAS) diagnostics, troubleshooting, programming, maintenance, and equipment startup support. • Remotely inspect and evaluate BAS, HVAC, and chiller systems, delivering detailed reports on system operation and issue identification. • Communicate via telephone, instant messaging, and email with onsite Trane and third-party technicians, customers, customer representatives, and Trane internal teams. • Participate in technical and strategic account reviews with internal stakeholders. • Identify parts needed for repairs and coordinate with relevant teams for procurement.
• Contribute to the Trane Service Products Growth Team (PGT), a cross-functional team that includes Product Management, Engineering, and Operations and other stakeholders, all focused on driving profitable growth. • Support the development of the services strategy, long-range plan, and annual operating plan for the service business. • Actively manage the day-to-day needs of the service offering, with a particular focus on implementation of new pricing strategies. • Conduct regular industry, market, and competitor analyses, including detailed segmentations of end consumers and customers. • Contribute to the development and execution of a multigenerational product plan (MGPP) for service products, ensuring that the positioning, pricing, cost, margins, and customer value proposition support the overall building services strategy. • Collaborate with other service and equipment product managers to ensure the strategy supports broader system initiatives and a smooth integration with Trane's overall strategy. • Strong collaboration with the product support and applications team ensuring that our efforts for product support are well documented for field action. • Support the creation and execution of marketing and commercialization plans for new services offerings. • Review and recommend adjustments to offer structure, pricing, policies, or service features to better meet customer needs and expectations, based on regular product line reviews. Ensure pricing changes to all existing offerings to cover for inflation, market trends, competitor actions, changes to offer structure or features, and/or lifecycle stages.
• Define and execute BrainBox AI’s global customer success strategy, operating model, and engagement framework. • Build, lead, and develop high-performing teams across Customer Success Management, Measurement & Verification, Customer Performance Services, and Customer Support. • Establish KPIs and management rhythms for customer health, retention, expansion, and overall customer outcomes. • Lead Measurement & Verification teams that use energy engineering and analytics to provide customers with clear evidence of reductions in energy costs and emissions. • Oversee Customer Performance Services, delivering sustaining engineering services that maximize ongoing energy savings, system performance, and occupant comfort. • Direct Customer Support teams that monitor customer systems, ensure AI continues to optimize performance, and respond to events to maintain occupant comfort and operational continuity. • Partner with Sales and Deployment teams to support successful customer onboarding, implementation, and adoption. • Own post-deployment engagement, including executive business reviews, success planning, renewals, and expansion opportunities. • Ensure a consistent, high-quality customer experience across regions and throughout the full customer lifecycle. • Serve as the voice of the customer across Product, Engineering, Operations, and Commercial teams. • Translate customer insights into strategic recommendations that improve product performance, service delivery, and customer outcomes. • Support customer advocacy initiatives, including references, case studies, and long-term relationship development.
• Build and run detailed performance models for integrated data center thermal systems using tools like CFD and other simulation software • Develop and implement simulation models to analyze the thermal, fluid, and electrical performance of integrated data center systems • Collaborate with the lead engineers to define simulation requirements, influence system-level reference design strategy, and validate model accuracy through testing and real-world performance data • Apply continuous improvement methodologies to enhance modeling processes and outcomes • Analyze system performance across various operating conditions and failure scenarios • Support the development of customer-specific reference designs in platforms like Autodesk Forma by providing performance simulation data • Collaborate with engineering leads to validate design choices and identify opportunities for optimization • Assist in the development of system selection and configuration tools based on performance modeling • Create models that specifically target key customer KPIs like PUE, WUE, and carbon emissions reduction, demonstrating quantifiable performance improvements that contribute to Trane's sustainability goals • Provide coaching, mentorship, and technical guidance to junior engineers and cross-functional team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing • Represent the company in industry standards bodies like ASHRAE to influence future data center design

• Lead the training and mentorship of Applications Engineers to strengthen technical expertise and organizational capability • Develop industry-specific technical playbooks that help position temporary HVAC, heating, and power solutions around customer value across key industrial applications • Act as the in-house technical expert, supporting solution development and advancing complex opportunities • Support the development of growth strategy by identifying investment needs, defining priorities, and building business justifications for key initiatives • Build technical sourcing partnerships with strategic suppliers to expand solution capabilities and address gaps in the product portfolio
• Develop complete electrical system designs for lighting, power distribution, emergency systems, and controls for commercial and industrial facilities. • Prepare designs for roof, ground, and canopy photovoltaic systems including: site layouts, single line diagrams, generation models, and interconnection applications. • Produce construction-ready drawing packages: plans, schematics, wiring diagrams, equipment layouts, and specifications using AutoCAD, Revit, BIM360, or similar design tools. • Perform engineering calculations: load analysis, short-circuit, coordination, arc flash, voltage drop, conduit sizing and energy efficiency assessments. • Ensure all designs are fully compliant with applicable codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, IEEE, ANSI, UL, IEC, UBC). • Collaborate with architects, clients, utility companies, and other engineering disciplines to ensure inter-discipline coordination and constructability. • Participate in site surveys, field investigations, and construction support activities—overseeing data collection, installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning. • Prepare technical documents including engineering reports, cost estimates, permit applications, technical specifications, and as-built documentation. • Support permit and interconnection application processes with local agencies, authorities, or utilities. • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to enhance project performance and cost-effectiveness. • Provide mentoring to junior staff engineers and designers as appropriate.

• Provide Technical Service Support for Trane Field Service Agencies including some travel to work sites when necessary. • Troubleshoot Chillers remotely. • Perform chiller service report and chiller data analysis. Organize data collected including reports and other records as required to support data driven decision making. • Interact with other Trane functional areas to provide customer support and achieve overall business unit objectives. • Originate solution in the Help Center and/or technically review solutions for problems. • Travel (up to 15%) to jobs to troubleshoot, train, provide field support and support new product development. • Review and direct customer interaction for Trane Chillers. • Assist with root cause analysis and defect resolution. • Author and/or review product literature and assist with training classes. • Be the subject matter expert for one or more chiller component(s)/application(s) and be a resource to internal team members in those areas. • Lead and/or participate as a team member on supporting teams such as field quality problem solving and field service communications. • Ensures quality standards of all technical service operation processes and functions required for execution of work and customer satisfaction. • Participate in Quality Audits, Design review teams, and technology transfers. • Identify field problem trends and provide detailed information to the Quality department relating to field or factory failures for product improvement processes. • Drive quality improvement projects and participate in NPD projects as a voice of the field to ensure adequate serviceability is accounted for in the design process. • Provide support to our Mission Critical customers on startups, commissioning and servicing of chillers. Your scheduled hours may flex to provide support outside normal business hours. • Consider the future goals and current needs of the department and make data informed decisions.
• Responsible for assisting customers remotely through the startup, operation, and diagnosis/troubleshooting on a wide variety of HVAC products • Uses a variety of resources (experience, literature, people, and problem-solving skills) to remotely determine the root cause of an issue and determine the best course of action with the goal of putting the customer first • On a daily basis, is required to make pivotal decisions regarding the dispensation of company resources in order to resolve a customer issue • Manages and leverages relationships with manufacturing site teams as well as field offices • During shift hours, diligently monitors inbound technical support requests and stays in constant contact with those customers until their issues are resolved in a timely and consistent manner • Responsible for determining the experience level of customers requesting assistance, ensuring they stay safe and are not asked to perform beyond their means • Documents work by following pre-defined procedures and completing documentation of support given • As a subject matter expert, creates standard work and documents solutions that can be shared internally and externally across the company • Responsible for coordination with internal teams concerning quality escapes, design errors, and Service Alerts or Bulletins • Participates in New Product Introduction projects as required, specifically focusing on unit serviceability • Reviews warranty claims against history of technical support provided and makes recommendations as to warranty coverage • Uses technical support and warranty data to drive 9-step problem solving to reduce common failures • Applies their expertise with equipment to create content for technical literature and end-user equipment startup guides
