Opportunity: Program Manager - Security Cooperation Program Bottom Line Up Front: The Hoplite Group, a Veteran-Owned Small Business specializing in defense-oriented solutions, is currently seeking a Program Manager to support an ongoing Department of Defense (DoD) initiative. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record managing programs within the federal contracting space, especially in DoD environments. This role requires a leader with excellent organization and communication skills, as well as experience coordinating across multiple stakeholders and time zones. Location: Remote (ideal home base is Greater Tampa Bay Area) Level of Effort: Full-Time Duties Will Include, But Are Not Limited To: - Serve as the principal Program Manager, responsible for organizing, directing, and managing a dispersed team of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) supporting U.S. government and partner nation capacity building efforts. - Oversee the full program lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, delivery, and closure of monthly activities, reporting, and ad hoc deliverables. - Provide strategic direction and ensure all program deliverables meet technical and contractual requirements. - Act as the primary point of contact for government stakeholders, subcontracting offices, and partner companies. - Collaborate with Hoplite Group’s Finance Team to support cost estimation, monitor spending, review invoices, and manage vendor portal requirements. - Track project progress using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Project; provide consistent and transparent status updates to internal and external stakeholders. - Support the Recruiting Team in identifying, vetting, and submitting qualified candidates to meet emerging customer requirements. - Deliver concise weekly and monthly reports and briefings to senior Hoplite Group stakeholders and government clients. - Ensure quality, risk mitigation, and compliance with DoD and federal program standards. Required Qualifications/Skills: - 5+ years of experience working with the Department of Defense (DoD) in a leadership or project/program management role. Ideally, has some experience with U.S. DoD Security Cooperation initiatives. - 5+ years of program management experience, including oversight of teams across all program lifecycle phases. - Proven experience delivering federal services and managing contracts within complex DoD environments. - Experience with federal contracting processes, including FAR compliance, contract execution, and reporting – highly preferred. - Familiarity with ITAR. - Demonstrated ability to manage teams, track financial and hourly data, and deliver high-quality reports. - Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite and program management tools such as MS Project Professional/Server. - Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Location: Remote support (CONUS) and forward engagements (OCONUS) as part of a U.S. Government team Level of Effort: - Non-Travel Months: 20 hours/month. - Travel engagements: OCONUS 60-day TDY starting May 2026: approximately 160 hours/month. - Post-Engagement: Remote support as needed. Opportunity (Part-Time): Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS) Subject Matter Expert (SME) Bottom Line Up Front: Hoplite Group is seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with extensive experience in C-UAS strategy and policy development to support a U.S. Government contract helping to develop partner nation capacity- in integrated C-UAS capabilities. Location: Remote support (CONUS) and forward engagements (OCONUS) in a partner nation (PN). Level of Effort: - Non-travel months: 20-30 hours/month (intercessional support for the program) - Quarterly travel engagement months: 90-100 hours/month (inclusive of pre-trip planning, travel, post-trip reports). Objective: The program will work with interagency stakeholders to assist in the development of an integrated and complex C-UAS framework. This framework will examine interagency responsibilities, legal considerations, airspace management, incident response, spectrum management, workforce development, and other factors. The objective is to assist in developing a C-UAS strategy and doctrine that will enable the necessary policy, organizational structure, and processes to protect critical capabilities and civilian infrastructure from diverse UAS threats. Required Qualifications/Skills: - - Retired O-5 / O-6 level officer. - C-UAS strategy and policy development and implementation with partner nations. - C-UAS related DoD strategic and/or operational level staff experience. - Expertise in defense strategy, policy, and/or doctrine development. - Expertise in joint integrated air and missile defense (IAMD). - Expertise in capability gap analysis and facilitating collaborative planning. - Expertise implementing institutional capacity building programs. - Experience in security cooperation/security assistance programs. - Graduate of Senior Service College. - Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance a must.
