That's why we're looking for a Product Operations Manager to help shape how our product teams work, collaborate and deliver. This is a role for someone who loves improving systems, simplifying complexity and helping talented teams perform at their best. You'll influence everything from strategy and governance to tooling, prioritisation and delivery, creating an environment where great products can move from idea to reality faster and more effectively. You'll also take ownership of our strategic Personal Loans product, giving you the opportunity to combine operational excellence with hands-on product leadership. About the role You'll have the opportunity to shape how Product Operations evolves within a growing Financial Services business, influencing everything from strategic investment decisions to day-to-day delivery practices. You'll work across an ambitious product landscape, collaborate with talented colleagues from across the business and have the freedom to make meaningful improvements that are felt by teams, leaders and customers alike. This is a unique role that sits at the centre of Product, Engineering, UX, Data and Commercial teams within Financial Services. Rather than owning a single product area, you'll have the opportunity to improve how an entire product organisation operates. You'll help teams focus on the right priorities, remove friction from delivery and create greater visibility around performance, value and investment decisions. Your work will have a ripple effect across the business. Product teams will have clearer ways of working. Leaders will have better insights and confidence in decision-making. Customers will benefit from better products delivered more quickly and reliably. This is an opportunity to influence at scale, working with senior stakeholders across Financial Services while shaping the future maturity of our product operating model. You'll play a key role in helping our product teams deliver their best work by: - Defining and evolving the product operating model that supports efficient, customer-focused delivery - Bringing greater consistency, visibility and confidence to portfolio planning, prioritisation and governance - Helping product and engineering teams focus investment on the initiatives that will create the biggest customer and commercial impact - Creating a clear view of portfolio health, delivery performance, dependencies and value realisation - Improving how teams use product and delivery tooling to reduce friction and increase productivity - Building meaningful reporting and insight that helps leaders make better decisions - Creating strong partnerships across Product, Engineering, UX, Data, Commercial, Risk and Compliance teams - Embedding governance and controls that enable teams to move quickly while meeting regulatory requirements - Coaching teams on product best practice, experimentation, metrics and continuous improvement - Acting as Product Manager for our Personal Loans proposition, helping shape the future of a strategically important product area About you You're someone who naturally spots opportunities to simplify, improve and connect. You enjoy bringing people together, creating clarity from complexity and helping teams achieve better outcomes. About the team We have an exciting opportunity for a Buying Assistant (Buyers Admin Assistant) on our Leisure department. You’ll report into the Junior Buyer for the area, so lots of opportunity to further develop your skills and progress in role. You will joining a collaborative and fast-paced buying team where ideas are valued and initiative is encouraged. The team is small, so good communication skills are imperative as you support the team in bringing exciting products to market, managing supplier information, and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. You'll gain insight into category management, supplier relationships and pricing while developing the organisational skills, commercial knowledge and experience, all of which are essential for a successful career in buying. About the role Day to day you will have an understanding of the category critical path and supply chain, whilst undertaking administrative support for the buying function. You will be responsible for sample management and maintaining the sample library. The skills and behaviours key to being a successful BA candidate here at The Very Group are; commercially aware, able to build relationships and methodical, passionate, strong communication skills, can demonstrate initiative, enjoys problem solving and interpreting data and you must have excellent attention to detail. We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and hardworking Womenswear multiproduct designer to join our small but dynamic Womenswear team for a maternity cover. This role has a focus on looking at and designing for our celebrity collaborations for Very’s own brand and also leading in trend and developing trend ideas to action quickly and react to. This role requires previous experience working within a womenswear team, preferably working on trends, and having a detailed understanding of the process of designing a womenswear department. This role is open to either London or Liverpool candidates. For London candidates regular travel to Liverpool 2 or occasionally 3 times per month would be required. - Develop seasonal trends, colours & ranges for Celebrity collaborations across multiproduct categories. - Work with the trend researcher to action quick concepts and designs out for our speed to market model. - Assist the design manager in overseeing trend presentations, trend rack ups and product selection for campaigns for womenswear. - Present design concepts confidently in team meetings and to the wider business. - Oversee a fast-paced department with strong attention to detail and commercial awareness. - Collaborate with Buyers to create cohesive, commercially successful collections across Near East and Far East production. - Work closely with Technical Designers to refine fits and construction across the department. - Partner with suppliers to identify fabric and trim innovations, sourcing in line with seasonal trends. - Conduct ongoing research into trends and product direction within your category. - Apply knowledge of colour, graphics, and print to translate trends into clear design concepts. - Produce detailed CAD designs and presentation materials using Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. - Create accurate, comprehensive design packs for the supply chain. - Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to support sourcing and product development. - Analyse sales performance and respond by designing fashion-forward, customer-focused ranges. About you We’re looking for someone who is not only creative and detail-oriented, but also confident who thrives in a collaborative environment. To succeed, you’ll bring: - Proven experience within a Womenswear Design Team, ideally with a strong background in multiproduct - Some/ possible experience managing or mentoring designers. - A proactive, enthusiastic, and team-focused approach. - Attention to detail and leading with trend concepts is key. - You must have previous experience within Womenswear fashion at a Junior or Designer level who is interested in a new challenge. - Good knowledge of adobe suite is a must.
