Role Description TekSynap is seeking an Operations Director to support BU16. This is a corporate overhead position responsible for helping lead business unit operations, program execution, customer engagement, staffing alignment, financial performance, and growth support across the BU16 portfolio. The Operations Director will work directly with BU16 leadership and program teams to improve operational performance, resolve execution issues, strengthen customer relationships, support employee leadership, and help position the business unit for continued growth. This role is not tied to a single contract or task order. It is intended to provide senior-level operational leadership across current and future BU16 work. Role Description - Support the full lifecycle recruiting process for key and non-key personnel supporting bid and proposal opportunities on cleared and uncleared contracts. - Assist with recruiting efforts for technical and IT positions requiring various certifications and security clearance levels. - Develop an understanding of the proposal lifecycle from RFI through contract award and support recruiting activities related to proposal efforts. - Work closely with the Senior Employment Managers, hiring managers, and leadership teams to support incumbent capture activities during contract transitions. - Coordinate and assist with full-cycle recruiting activities for funded, unfunded, and pursuit opportunities. - Partner with leadership teams to understand labor categories, technical requirements, bill rates, and contract expectations. - Utilize recruiting and sourcing platforms, including iCIMS, LinkedIn, ClearanceJobs, and other resources, to identify and engage active and passive candidates. - Participate in funded and pursuit meetings and provide recruiting updates to proposal teams and leadership as needed. - Support job fairs, networking events, and company outreach initiatives to help build candidate pipelines for funded and unfunded opportunities. Some travel may be required. - Deliver quality customer service by helping match candidate qualifications with customer and contract requirements. - Build and maintain professional relationships with candidates, contract employees, customers, and internal staff. - Perform administrative and operational recruiting tasks to support overall team goals and recruiting efforts. - Respond to and help qualify job requisitions in a timely and efficient manner. - Review resumes and compare candidate skillsets against funded opportunities, proposals, and pipeline positions. - Maintain accurate candidate and recruiting information within applicable systems and databases. - Conduct candidate interviews to evaluate technical qualifications, experience, and overall fit for assignments. - Assist in resolving recruiting-related issues or concerns involving candidates, customers, and/or contract employees. - Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, hiring managers, and leadership. - Support the development and maintenance of candidate networks for current and future hiring needs. Qualifications - Recruiting experience with a focus on technical, IT, staffing, or GovCon roles preferred. - Basic understanding of recruiting for positions requiring security clearances and technical certifications. - Experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities simultaneously. - Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment. - Experience using recruiting and sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn, ClearanceJobs, and applicant tracking systems; iCIMS experience preferred. - Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills. - Ability to interact professionally with candidates, customers, and leadership. - Detail-oriented with strong follow-up and time management skills. - Must maintain a private home office environment with reliable phone and internet access. Role Description We are seeking a DevOps Engineer (Senior). - Facilitates the development of new software solutions and transition of existing solutions from monolithic structures to micro-service structure operating within hardened containers. - Working with application development teams to refactor or create solutions that leverage the DevSecOps CI/CD pipeline and tools. - Instructs/guides teams through their solution development. - Deploys and sustain microservices factory utilizing COTS and open-source solutions. Qualifications - Five (5+) years Agile experience. - Driving strategy and overseeing architecture of continuous integration and deployment, and monitoring across technologies. - Demonstrated experience with defining SAFe Agile methodology for large scale clients. - Demonstrated experience in leading DevOps methodologies. - Demonstrated experience with implementing Test Driven Development (TDD) Methodologies. - Demonstrated experience with driving automated software development lifecycle toolchain. - Demonstrated experience with deployments in both on premise and cloud environments. - Experience serving as the engineer of complex technology implementations in a product centric environment. - Experience with DevOps services using infrastructure as a service provider (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Compute Engine, RackSpace/OpenStack). - Using scripting or basic programming skills to solve problems. - Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., TFS, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Salt, LVM). - Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., LXC, Docker, Rocket, OpenShift). - Preferred SAFe Agile Certification or industry recognized equivalent certification. - Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments. - Certifications: Cloud Service Provider Certification: AWS; Microsoft Azure; Google Cloud Platform. - Security + - Bachelor’s Degree - Clearance: Secret, IT II Requirements - Location: Remote with periodic support at Fort Belvoir or other places in the National Capitol Region. - Type of environment: Remote - Noise level: Low - Work schedule: Schedule is day shift Monday – Friday.
