Role Description The IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing hands-on technical support and ensuring the stability, performance, and security of IT systems and infrastructure. This role supports day-to-day IT operations, including end-user support, system maintenance, and troubleshooting across hardware, software, and network environments. Working within a dynamic project environment, the IT Support Specialist collaborates with cross-functional teams to support enterprise systems, maintain system availability, and contribute to ongoing technology initiatives. - Monitoring system performance and responding to service requests, incidents, and outages - Installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware, software, and peripheral equipment - Supporting network connectivity, VPN access, and remote user environments - Assisting with system upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance activities - Maintaining user accounts, permissions, and access controls in alignment with security policies - Supporting enterprise applications including ERP, CRM, and operational systems - Assisting with cybersecurity practices including endpoint protection, threat awareness, and data protection protocols - Coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to resolve technical issues and support service delivery - Documenting technical procedures, troubleshooting steps, and system configurations Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience) - Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or systems administration roles - Strong knowledge of desktop support, operating systems (Windows/Mac), and common business applications - Experience with network fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN connectivity - Familiarity with Microsoft environments including Office 365, Azure, and Active Directory - Experience with hardware troubleshooting, system imaging, and device management - Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals including endpoint protection and access control Requirements - Experience supporting ERP systems, CRM platforms, and enterprise applications - Exposure to cloud-based infrastructure and SaaS platforms - Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes - Experience working with managed service providers or third-party vendors - Exposure to system integrations, automation tools, or scripting (e.g., PowerShell) - Experience supporting multi-site or remote workforce environments Benefits - Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) - Retirement Plan (401k, IRA) - Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D) - Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays) - Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity) - Training & Development - Work From Home
• Responsibility for service-oriented customer support at the IT Service Desk, including incident management, service requests and escalation management • Handling 1st- and 2nd-level support requests via the ticketing system, phone and remote support in Microsoft and DATEV environments • Technical support for Microsoft 365, Windows, Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, VPN, user and permissions management, and remote workstations • Coordination of complex IT incidents and service requests with internal specialist departments and 3rd-level support teams • Ensuring SLA-compliant ticket handling, IT documentation, knowledge management and continuous service quality • Participation in Managed Workplace & Endpoint Management and identification of optimization potential in IT service processes

• End-to-end responsibility as Product Owner and Service Owner for IT infrastructure and managed services • Management and development of 3rd-level support • Presales, design and technical implementation of IT infrastructure projects for clients in the upper mid-market segment • Responsibility for budget and forecast planning and close collaboration with vendors • Strategic account management and development of key accounts in IT infrastructure and managed services
• Perform and evaluate technical assessments of complex Microsoft infrastructures (Active Directory, AD CS, PKI, Windows Server) • Analyze critical security risks in complex legacy and hybrid environments and define sustainable remediation measures • Architect, plan and implement demanding migration and security projects in Windows Server environments • Act in a consultative role on client projects (travel approximately 10–20%) with deep technical involvement, including workshops and decision support • Prepare architecture designs and technical documentation for secure, scalable solutions • Further develop modern identity services with an increasing focus on Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD
• Analyze, prioritize and provide lasting resolutions for incidents and problems in Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint) • Operate, monitor and enhance cloud and hybrid environments (Microsoft 365, Azure) • Implement and maintain security and compliance requirements in day-to-day operations • Provide technical consultation, produce documentation and collaborate closely with customers and internal teams • Plan and perform changes and automation using PowerShell

• Close collaboration with the CFO in the strategic management of group-wide financial processes • Active participation in shaping central finance structures • Responsibility for management reporting at group level • Further development of reporting structures and systems (including LucaNet) • Management of budgeting, forecasting and liquidity planning • Execution of in-depth variance analyses (plan vs. actual, forecast vs. actual) • Derivation of concrete action recommendations for management • Further development of a KPI-based performance management system
