Role Description Slate’s iOS app sits at the centre of a big shift: creators and brand managers are increasingly building, managing, and publishing from their phones. That means the native mobile experience has to be excellent — not a cut-down version of the web, but a first-class surface in its own right. What You’ll Actually Do - Raise the Performance Bar - Profile and resolve memory issues, CPU spikes, and rendering bottlenecks using Xcode Instruments. - Apply modern concurrency patterns — async/await, GCD, Operations — to keep the UI responsive under load. - Contribute to Slate’s architecture evolution toward MVVM; bring strong opinions about clean, maintainable iOS structure. - Bring UIKit depth alongside SwiftUI fluency; many of our most performance-sensitive components live in UIKit. - Use Firebase (or comparable real-time stacks) to power near-real-time collaboration signals on the iOS client. - Ship with the Team - Work end-to-end: from scoping with product, through implementation, to iterating on live feedback. - Write sustainable, testable, high-quality code and hold that bar through code review. - Integrate AI tooling naturally into your workflow — we move faster because we use it well. - Share knowledge openly and help the team grow; we’re a collaborative team and it shows. Qualifications - 5+ years of native iOS development, with production apps that handled media — images, video, or rich asset libraries. - Strong command of Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI. - Solid understanding of iOS memory management, profiling, and optimisation. - Experience with video rendering (AVFoundation composition / custom compositor), image processing, or real-time collaboration on iOS is a strong plus. - Hands-on with Core Text or TextKit for custom text editor work, or Metal/MetalKit for media processing. - Experience with Firebase Realtime Database or a comparable real-time sync stack on mobile. - Hands-on experience with URLSession for networking. - Comfortable with GCD, NSOperation, and modern concurrency patterns (async/await); Combine is a plus. - Familiar with MVVM, MVC, and modular architecture patterns. - Persistence (CoreData). - Testing (Swift Testing / XCTest). - Agentic development. • Work closely with stakeholders to complete the accounting activities for our company. • Lead and oversee the accounting team to ensure accurate financial records. • Oversee month-end and year-end close, including financial statements, reconciliation review, and variance analysis. • Prepare and deliver timely and accurate monthly financial reports. • Research and document the company's accounting for complex, non-routine transactions. • Manage the annual audit process by ensuring proper documentation and compliance with internal controls. • Support the design and documentation of internal controls over financial reporting. • Prepare and utilize detailed work instructions for recurring accounting tasks. • Collaborate on budgeting and forecasting initiatives with the Financial Planning & Analysis team. • Identify opportunities to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and speed in financial processes. • Oversee the rollout of new accounting software and ERP add-ons.

• Serve as a West Coast regional liaison between Slate service repair facilities and Service, Quality, and Engineering teams to quickly root-cause and recommend repair actions for Slate product issues. • Provide on-site assistance to service repair facilities and technicians when requested. • Provide expert repair guidance to service technicians on complex technical issues. • Support service technicians with high voltage battery pack testing, repair and replacements, discharging, and powering up. • Track and communicate in-field issue resolution to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. • Work with Slate Parts, Quality, and Logistics teams to coordinate part ordering escalation and returns. • Provide support to Slate Sales and Slate Customer Care to assist with customer concerns and case escalations. • Identify ECU software and calibration issues, collecting data logs, and documenting findings for Engineering and supplier review. • Work with Slate Warranty team for warranty claim disputes, approvals, and authorization of good will. • Ensure service center certification standards and compliance are being met. • Ensure a consistent and efficient repair strategy across the Slate service network. • Monitor service repair processes and make recommendations on future training opportunities to Service and Slate University teams.

• Plan and execute risk-based IT audits covering areas such as cybersecurity, infrastructure, system implementations, access management, and data governance. • Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of IT general controls (ITGCs) and application controls across key business systems. • Identify control gaps and process inefficiencies, and provide practical, actionable recommendations to strengthen the IT control environment. • Support SOX compliance efforts by assessing IT controls over financial reporting, including change management, logical access, and computer operations. • Coordinate with Finance, IT, and external auditors to ensure timely and accurate completion of internal audit and SOX testing activities. • Prepare clear and concise audit reports summarizing findings, risk implications, and recommended corrective actions for both technical and non-technical audiences. • Present audit results to senior management and assist in facilitating agreement on remediation plans with business and IT stakeholders. • Track and monitor the status of open audit findings, engaging with process owners to validate timely and effective remediation. • Document evidence of corrective actions and confirm that control improvements are sustainably embedded in business processes. • Partner with IT, Finance, Operations, and Compliance teams to build strong working relationships and promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. • Leverage data analytics tools such as Power BI and Tableau to enhance audit testing, identify anomalies, and deliver deeper insights. • Stay current on emerging IT risks, cybersecurity threats, evolving regulations, and industry best practices relevant to the internal audit function.
