• Build and ship features across the GovPilot, SDL, and Hedgerow codebases, picking up new languages and frameworks as the work demands • Design and build systems and workflows that let AI agents work at scale without sacrificing safety or quality • Run your own email, calendar, and task management with a high degree of autonomy. No one is going to hand you a step-by-step plan • Propose and pilot new ways of working that go beyond standard agile or sprint-based development • Set up guardrails, evals, and review processes so AI-generated work can be trusted and shipped quickly • Partner with engineering leadership to figure out what our development lifecycle should look like a year from now, and start building toward it now
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing local government customers to drive engagement and product adoption • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products and services to meet customer needs • Conduct regular account reviews, analyze usage data, and provide strategic recommendations to optimize customer value • Work closely with the customer success team to ensure a seamless customer experience and drive retention • Partner with sales and marketing teams to develop tailored upsell and cross-sell campaigns • Negotiate contract renewals, expansion and close new deals while ensuring customer satisfaction • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, local government challenges, and competitive offerings
• Talk to customers regularly. • Listen for what's broken, what's confusing, what they actually need. • Own the design process end to end. • Wireframes, flows, prototypes, final specs. • Write and prioritize and design product intents and acceptance criteria. • Run planning, grooming, and retros. • Prototype and iterate directly in tools like Claude Design or Make. • Communicate what shipped and why it matters. • Stakeholders should always know what changed and what it did for users.
• Lead and oversee all IT Operations, including systems administration, infrastructure, and support functions • Define and execute IT strategy aligned with company growth and operational needs • Ensure reliability, performance, and scalability of core systems and infrastructure • Oversee user access management, identity systems, and security controls across the organization • Drive IT security initiatives, including policies, access reviews, and compliance efforts • Manage IT vendors, service providers, and technology investments • Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, including system access and device management • Develop and maintain IT policies, documentation, and operational processes • Partner cross-functionally to evaluate, implement, and optimize business systems and tools • Lead system integrations and ensure efficient data flow across platforms • Monitor system performance and proactively identify risks and improvement opportunities • Build, lead, and develop the IT Operations team.
• Lead tailored product demonstrations for municipal prospects across the US • Partner with AEs throughout the sales cycle — from discovery through proposal • Own RFP and RFI responses, working with internal teams to craft accurate, competitive answers • Run discovery sessions to uncover prospect needs and map them to GovPilot capabilities • Build custom demo environments and proof-of-concept configurations • Serve as the technical point of contact during competitive evaluations • Capture and relay product feedback to our product team based on prospect conversations • Support proposal and pricing discussions alongside sales leadership
• Maintain and enhance a large-scale Visual Basic 6.0 desktop application supporting core municipal workflows • Work within a modular architecture where department-level functionality is delivered through COM-based DLLs • Diagnose and resolve issues across a complex, interconnected, and lightly documented codebase • Support incremental modernization efforts while maintaining system stability and continuity • Manage and maintain multi-tenant database environments, including schema updates and migrations • Support GIS integrations and spatial data functionality within the application • Maintain data import and integration processes with external municipal and state systems • Support build, packaging, and release processes in a Windows-based environment • Develop scripts and tools to support database analysis, migration, and operational efficiency • Ensure data consistency between legacy desktop systems and modern backend platforms.
• Assist in the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger reconciliations. • Participate in month-end close procedures, including prepaid expenses, accruals, deferred revenue, and reconciliations. • Support cash flow management, forecasting, and budgeting processes. • Support payroll processing and benefits reconciliations. • Help prepare audit documentation and support tax filings, including 1099 reporting and nexus review. • Assist with system implementations, process improvements, and scaling accounting operations.

• Identify and develop opportunities within assigned high-value named accounts to meet revenue targets. • Manage long-duration, complex procurement cycles from initial discovery to contract execution. • Cultivate and maintain deep relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within local government agencies. • Conduct deep-dive discovery and provide strategic recommendations. • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams. • Expertly negotiate high-value contract renewals, expansions, and new deals. • Stay current on GovTech industry trends.
• Develop positioning and messaging for GovPilot's solutions that speak directly to local government pain points • Create sales enablement materials, including battlecards, one-pagers, success stories, and presentation decks • Build competitive intelligence frameworks and displacement strategies against key competitors • Lead go-to-market planning for new features and product launches • Partner with sales to understand objections and refine talk tracks • Develop buyer personas and journey maps specific to department heads, elected officials, and IT directors • Plan and execute campaigns that generate qualified leads for the sales team • Own content strategy for inbound marketing including blog posts, success stories, webinars, and videos • Manage GovPilot's messaging at industry conferences and events • Collaborate with sales development to optimize lead qualification and handoff • Track and report on marketing-sourced pipeline and campaign performance • Develop nurture sequences that move prospects through the consideration funnel • Guide and develop the Associate Product Marketing Manager • Delegate campaign execution and content production while maintaining quality standards • Provide regular feedback and coaching to support professional growth • Coordinate workload and priorities across product marketing initiatives
