Experience working with ERP platforms such as SAP, Intacct, Hyperion, Oracle or BlackLine would be beneficial, as would experience in the software industry and knowledge of IFRS standards. A degree in accounting or finance is required, and a CPA qualification or the intention to sit the exams would be preferred. An audit background would also be valuable for this role. The Account Executive - College sells to Higher Education faculty within a designated geographical territory. With a hunter mentality, their objective is to grow market share by successfully establishing new business with Sage Vantage, myBusinessCourse, and other digital or print content that meets course needs. Ideal candidate is an independent, self-starter whose responsibilities include conducting well-structured consultative sales calls, persuasively demonstrating technology product capabilities, establishing relationships with faculty members and other customers to gain new business and grow revenue. With a strong drive, ample product knowledge, and active listening skills, this person is confident and persuasive when interacting with customers. The ability to systematically run a large geographic territory through employing in person and virtual sales techniques is a daily requirement. This position is based in Wisconsin and will have overnight travel of 20-25% during the prime selling season. • Own the full enterprise sales cycle, from strategic prospecting through executive-level negotiations and close, while driving new customer acquisition and expansion within existing accounts • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and Leadership to refine Sage's go-to-market strategy, sales motion, and commercial processes as the company scales • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through outbound prospecting, strategic partnerships, executive networking, and industry events while developing trusted relationships with key stakeholders • Deliver accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and data-driven insights to support strategic planning and revenue growth • Help shape the future of Sage's commercial organization by contributing to sales enablement, sales methodology, account strategy, and operational excellence
