Job Description The Distributor Partner Manager develops and implements market access strategies and plans to grow market share through distribution. You will establish and maintain relationships with distributors to ensure effective and efficient utilization of resources to grow the business and ensure alignment. You will report to the Manager, Territory Sales and will be work remote from your home office and onsite at distributor locations in Oklahoma. Your Responsibilities: - Formulate business strategies to grow overall sales and market share through distribution - Coordinate activities and resource utilization within the sales organization - Implement and measures all Rockwell Automation market access commercial programs - Be the single point of contact for each assigned distributor - Manage the development of assigned distributors and their performance. - Analyze account requirements and develop account penetration plans with the distributor to increase market share. - Resolve market access issues resulting in conflict (i.e. APR violations, etc.) - Measure distributor performance and implements distributor performance improvement programs. - Facilitate the implementation of new product launches and promotional programs through the direction of all market access team resources, including the distributor's personnel. - Take an active role in coaching distributor personnel and evaluating their competency in the support of Rockwell Automation products and services. - Assure that we have a consistent, high level of distributor capability to serve all customers in the assigned territory. - Ensure familiarity with company policies and procedures. Appropriately apply policies and procedures in compliance with government laws. The Essentials - You Will Have: - Bachelors degree or equivalent years of experience. - Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening. - The ability to travel 50% of the time. - A valid drivers license. The Preferred - You Might Also Have: - Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering discipline. - 8+ years of experience in technical sales, industrial distribution, systems integration or an engineering firm, or graduate of the Rockwell Automation Sales Training Program - Experience working with all levels of an industrial automation plant (customer) including VPs, plant engineers and OEM machine builders. - Experience working with customers in the oil and gas industries.
