Role Description The VP of Operation reports to the Chief Operations Officer and will oversee all aspects of multiple ophthalmology practices located throughout the West Coast region. The incumbent provides strategic and operational leadership to the regional practice management team. This position requires an individual with a creative mind for anticipating business needs, and strong aptitude for leveraging business relationships. Compensation Range (DOE): $175,000-$220,000 Position Information: Remote with travel required throughout the West Coast. Compensation Range: $25.00-$28.00/hr (Dependent on Experience) The role of the scribe is to assist the physician with documentation of the patient's medical record. A scribe: - Explains to the patient what to expect from technician’s work up and from the physician. - Completes a detailed patient history which includes: - Past medical history (systemic and ocular) - Family medical history (systemic and ocular) - Medication history (systemic and ocular) - Chief complaint (the reason for the visit) - Transcribes the impression and plan, results of tests, prescriptions, and orders under the direction of the physician. - Documents any procedures performed by the physician or ophthalmic medical personnel. - Transcribes any consultations or discussions with family members. - Does not directly assist with patient care. - Attends required staff and educational meetings as requested. - Maintains strictest confidentiality. Role Description The Medical Equipment Support Coordinator plays a critical operational role in ensuring the readiness, reliability, and lifecycle management of clinical and diagnostic equipment across Prism Vision Group’s national ophthalmology network. This role may be on‑site or remote depending on location and business needs. We have both on-site and virtual scribe opportunities available. A virtual scribe provides real-time administrative help without being present on-site. This role is instrumental in helping plan and execute key physician workstreams, from leadership meetings to physician retreats. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively with physicians and executive stakeholders, and brings structure and follow-through to physician-focused initiatives.
