Role Description As a Senior Software Developer at Praecipio, you will be a key technical contributor and client-facing expert. Jira Administrator Contract — Backend Scripting/Automation Overview This is a contract opportunity. We are seeking a hands-on Jira Administrator to own ongoing Jira administration, configuration governance, and backend scripting and automation. What We Look For - A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as an Atlassian Engineer, Administrator, or Consultant in a large-scale, enterprise environment. - Demonstrated, in-depth experience planning and executing complex migrations (Server to Cloud, DC to Cloud, instance consolidations) for Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket. - Extensive experience with tooling and advanced configuration of Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence, including a deep understanding of schemes, workflows, and permissions. - Proven expertise in designing and implementing integrations using marketplace apps (e.g., ScriptRunner, eazyBI, Structure, Xray) and custom solutions via REST APIs. - Strong understanding of IT and business frameworks such as Agile (SAFe, Scrum), DevOps, and ITSM/ITIL. - Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, Python) to automate tasks and extend Atlassian tool functionality. Certifications (Highly Desired): - Atlassian Certified in Jira Project Administration (ACP-JPA) - Atlassian Certified in Jira Administration for Cloud (ACP-JCA) or Data Center (ACP-JAD) - Atlassian Certified in Agile Development with Jira Software (ACP-JSW) - Atlassian Certified in Jira Service Management (ACP-JSM) - Atlassian Certified System Administrator (ACP-ASA) - Other relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, PMP, SAFe Agilist) are a plus.
