Data Operations Analyst I

Position Summary The Data Operations Analyst is a technical role responsible for ensuring the stability, accuracy, and efficiency of our core data pipelines and operational processes. This individual uses technical skills to manage data flows, troubleshoot issues, perform analysis, and support continuous improvement. This role serves as a critical link between our Data and Delivery teams, translating data into actionable insights and robust processes that support program delivery and other operations. The focus of this position is on the execution and maintenance of existing data processes and workflows. Key Responsibilities - Core Responsibilities: - - Run predefined Python scripts and notebooks in Databricks for routine tasks. - Perform regular data uploads to Salesforce using tools like Data Loader, ensuring accuracy. - Write basic SQL queries to extract data and answer routine business questions. - Handle first-tier data-related inquiries and support tickets from the Delivery team. - Assist in the documentation of operational processes. - Lead Generation Management & Support: Perform weekly manual reviews of sites to ensure pipeline replenishment. Provide ad-hoc lead generation support as requested. - Technical Pipeline Management: Oversee and troubleshoot core operational processes, including Salesforce data uploads, data quality checks in Databricks, and the execution of automated flows. - Data Quality Assurance: Proactively monitor and resolve data quality issues by running data checks, investigating anomalies, and managing data integrity across platforms. - Reporting & Support: Build and maintain reports and dashboards in Salesforce and/or BI tools (e.g., AWS Quicksight). Provide direct support to the Delivery team by handling ad-hoc analysis, data pulls, and custom reports. - Process Improvement: Document existing data processes and collaborate with technical teams to test, troubleshoot, and support the automation and enhancement of operational workflows. Key Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience. - Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts. - Familiarity with Salesforce, particularly data management and reporting. - Basic understanding of SQL and data manipulation concepts. - Ability to work in a remote team environment. Location and Travel Power TakeOff is a 100% virtual company with no physical office location. However, many employees are based in two hubs in the areas around Denver, CO and Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario. Residence in one of these two hubs is desired but not required, and relocation assistance will not be provided for the position. This position is eligible for employment in both the United States and Canada. Travel is not expected for this position. Power TakeOff will cover the associated accommodation and travel expenses for any company travel. Compensation and Benefits The total expected base salary range for employees residing in the U.S. is between $65,000 - $80,000 USD and CAD 76,200 - CAD 93,800 per year, depending on experience. Energy Efficiency Engineer I/II

• The Energy Efficiency Engineer I/II will be a technical lead for Power TakeOff’s two key utility offerings: our Virtual Commissioning (VCx) and Virtual Strategic Energy Management (vSEM) programs, as well as provide technical support for other new energy management initiatives. • This role will be a central knowledge expert for HVAC, controls, and energy efficiency best practices; advising customers at large commercial, institutional, and manufacturing sites on optimal controls to uncover deep, low/no-cost energy efficiency opportunities. • An Energy Efficiency Engineer II would also leverage past experience to be an expert technical resource supporting other new Demand Side Management (DSM) programs or offerings, and may have some independent direct work with customers. • This role is part of Power Takeoff’s internal Technical Team, and you will report to the Senior Energy Efficiency Engineering Manager within Power TakeOff’s Portfolio Management team. • Customer Engagement: Work alongside Energy Advisors and vSEM coaches to analyze interval energy usage data, identify key drivers of energy use, and discover low and no-cost energy savings measures at customer facilities. Help the vSEM coaches develop technical material for the ongoing vSEM workshops. • Technical Resource Development and Training: Contribute to research and documentation to help shape internal resources and best practices for technical engagement. Monitor the performance of Energy Advisors, collaborating with the Technical Team manager to identify training needs and opportunities for professional development. • Measurement and Verification (M&V): Partner with the internal M&V team to evaluate and communicate performance results; in some cases, assisting Energy Advisors and vSEM Coaches with resolving technical issues with the customer.
Energy Engineer I/II – Peak Load Management

• Customer Engagement: Work alongside Energy Advisors and vSEM coaches to analyze customer load profiles and find low / no-cost curtailment strategies that align with specific business operations at each facility. • Analyzing interval energy use data and working with customers to discover energy efficiency opportunities will also be a regular component of this role. • Technical Resource Development and Training: Contribute to research and documentation to help shape internal resources and best practices for technical engagement. • Monitor the performance of Energy Advisors, collaborating with the Technical Team manager to identify training needs and opportunities for professional development. • Measurement and Verification (M&V): Partner with the internal M&V team to evaluate and communicate performance results of both peak shaving and energy use reduction. • In some cases, this would include assisting Energy Advisors and vSEM Coaches with resolving technical issues with the customer. • Training and Professional Development: Learning & training on additional technical skills to prepare to be a dynamic contributor to other programs outside of vSEM.
