Email Marketing Specialist
Power TakeOff
• Administer email marketing and sales engagement platforms (e.g. Outreach.io, OneSignal) • Serve as an internal platform expert to assist the team with questions and problems • Manage the configuration of the email marketing platform to ensure campaigns run smoothly • Maintain an active outreach calendar by managing the frequency of contact with customers • Act as a point of contact with vendors of email marketing software to stay informed about changes • Plan, create, test, and launch segmented email outreach campaigns • Draft email campaign templates with automated input fields related to personalization • Verify the correct configuration of email templates through robust testing • Execute fully automated (trigger) and semi-automated (drip) email campaigns • Ensure compliance with regulations for email campaigns and keep up with regulatory changes • Analyze and report relevant metrics and campaign results to management • Create reports and presentations on email campaign performance • Communicate insights and suggestions to other teams • A/B test email content, send timing, and segmentation • Complete HTML coding/scripting when necessary for adequate email content • Provide input on effective language for high quality outreach content
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field (preferred)
- 2-5 years in email marketing or a similar digital marketing role
- Proficient in OneSignal desired
- Proficiency in other tools like Outreach.io, Mailchimp, HubSpot and ActiveCampaign is valued
- Proficient with HTML, CSS and LiquidSyntax for implementing email templates
- Able to recommend and execute targeted email campaigns
- Experience with audience targeting and crafting personalized messages
- Experience with testing and analyzing campaign performance for improvements
- Strong ability to track, analyze, and report on campaign metrics
- Excellent writing skills for creating engaging and persuasive email content
- Basic design skills for creating visually appealing emails
- Familiar with email marketing laws like CAN-SPAM
- Able to handle multiple campaign projects and meet deadlines
- Able to identify questions and potential issues and opportunities early
- Proactive and seeks solutions to problems and opportunities
- Precise in content, design, and execution
- Willingness to learn and stay updated with industry trends
- Able to juggle multi-faceted problems and multiple projects while keeping thorough documentation
