Paxos
• Own the close and financial statements. Drive the monthly, quarterly and annual close end-to-end for all Paxos entities. • Set and defend accounting policy. Lead technical accounting research for new products, transactions and structures. • Own financial audit and controls. Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors. • Be a financial architecture partner for the business. Work with Product and Engineering at the design phase of new products. • Shape quote-to-cash and revenue recognition. Partner with commercial and legal teams to design scalable quote‑to‑cash processes. • Build the team and infrastructure. Manage and develop a team of accounting professionals.
Job Requirements
- CPA required.
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally including time in fast-scaling or complex, multi-entity environments.
- Deep US GAAP technical accounting knowledge with a demonstrated ability to research, conclude and document complex issues.
- Proven ability to partner directly with Product and Engineering teams on financial system design, fund flow architecture or platform build‑outs, as well as with GTM teams on quote‑to‑cash and revenue recognition.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to drive process efficiency to automate reconciliations, financial close tasks and reporting workflows to reduce manual effort.
- Experience in a fintech, crypto‑native company or regulated financial services environment is a plus.
