Role Description The Accountant will be responsible for executing essential daily accounting tasks, ensuring timely and accurate month-end close entries, and performing detailed reconciliations critical for maintaining financial accuracy and SOX compliance within the Wallet Financial Operations. - Prepare and review Wallet-related bank reconciliations and perform comprehensive reconciliations for all major capital programs, including US/CAD Capital, Wallet Capital Advance, Wallet Debit Card Program, and Wallet Line of Credit, ensuring SOX compliance. - Manage and maintain Wallet subledgers, ensuring completeness and accuracy of all related entries and processing daily Post Repayments in ReZEN. - Review and validate wallet transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, adjustments, and account transfers, specifically executing the Origination Fee Recon. - Support the Payouts and Revenue Operations teams by resolving wallet-related discrepancies, researching transaction issues, and ensuring payout accuracy. - Assist with month-end close activities, including performing and posting journal entries for Wallet Capital Advance, Wallet Capital Cash, Wallet Line of Credit (Interest Accrual/Reclass), Wallet Capital Lending, and all required month-end entries listed in the India Resource Plan. - Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Support) to troubleshoot wallet-related issues and ensure alignment between Wallet, Reason/ReZEN, and Business Central, specifically addressing discrepancies in Intercompany GL reconciliations. - Participate in system enhancements, automation initiatives, and special projects to improve wallet accounting processes and controls. - Perform ad hoc analyses or reporting as required.
