Role Description NexGen is looking for a General Superintendent to join our growing team in our Concrete Department. - Establish and maintain high safety and quality standards in accordance to company and industry standards. - Study specifications and blueprints to plan procedures for materials and construction based on starting and completion times. - Assemble and schedule appropriate team members (supervisory, clerical, engineering, and field workers) and sub-contractors at the start of the project, as well as coordinate staffing requirements throughout the project. - Set up construction site and procure tools and materials to be delivered at specified times to conform to work schedules. - Confer with and direct supervisory personnel and subcontractors engaged in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specifications, and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays and ensure quality. - Resolve complaints and grievances within the workforce by conferring with supervisory personnel. - Confer with supervisory and engineering personnel, inspectors, and suppliers of tools and materials to resolve construction problems and improve construction methods. - Inspect work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications, safety measurements, and adherence to construction schedules. - Prepare or review reports on progress, materials used and costs, and adjust work schedules as indicated by reports. - Ensure that appropriate documentation and cost associate documents are completed correctly and in a timely manner. - Ensure that purchase orders, receiving reports, and timesheets are correctly coded. - Direct workers concerned with major maintenance or reconditioning projects for existing installations. - Responsible for the communication, implementation, and enforcement of Gray’s safety program on site. - Other duties may be assigned. Role Description NexGen is looking for a Project Executive, MEP to join their growing team!
